I'm back, woohoo.
So I've been noticing players stating ridiculous things such as "Giving a Pilot with a mCRU 25 WP every time someone spawns is abusable!!11111", this my friends, makes no sense, nor does giving pilots with an mCRU less than 25 WP as it discourages them from taking the mCRU and fulfilling a vital job as an active spawn unit.
If you disagree with the WP for mCRU spawns, let's look at why you're wrong. (You are so very wrong.)
As a Pilot, I've resorted to landing somewhere, jumping out and chucking Gauged Uplinks around and then flying off, these helpful uplinks come in a pack of four and can have two deployed at any one time, that is 1000 WP if all links are used. But this isn't a solution to the problem, again it discourages me from getting my ship into the battle and instead lets me go to the area that is deemed safest, drop my uplinks off and fly to the redline. And ofcourse, if all 4 uplinks run out, Changing a suit gives me another 4 (Another 1000WP).
Every game I play like this I will receive a minimum of 500 WP, which while not a lot, means I get cash for literally doing nothing whilst my fellow Pilots preforming a proper logistic role will get no reward with an ISK payout resulting in under 100k (Unless they have good gunners), how can this be fair?
Next, you tell me that an mCRU with unlimited spawns can be abused, yet you are fine with uplinks? I've watched players throw uplinks at the enemy and run away, within minutes they are at the top of the leaderboard because every blue dot has spawned on that uplink and has started getting farmed.
You tell me "But players could commit suicide repeatedly and spawn on the Dropship", which again, you can do with Uplinks and a Supply depot.
Ask yourself how the mCRU with WPs can be abused and then look to the uplink, same thing but the uplink costs pennies compared to the mCRU. |

If anyone is willing to skill that far into Dropships, they deserve the unlimited spawn that comes with it. |

And while dropship pilots were being useless and complaining about war points Erris Ernaga rolled everything on the battlefield in his tanks ***ahhh ahh wahhh***
~Tanks earn probably the most war points in the game so fun taking down a bolas and scoring 150 points or a tank and scoring up to a max of 300 war points. Oh god man those 1 hit installations for 100 war points. |

Which is why I rarely run a Dropship in a pub match as its quite obvious CCP intends for them to be expensive throwaway taxis with no benefit in their current state, instead I run a militia fit gunnlogi making mah money ^_^ |

as it stands for now there is no reason to use something better then a viper to get to a certain position fast. And because you dont get WP's for piloting that thing it should be fair that you get 25WP for every spawn inside of it. |

Even when Dropships dominated pubs. They where still non-factors in Clan battles.
Dark Cloud is living proof.
Anyways I don't think people should be rewarded for just flying. |

I don't think people should be rewarded for just chucking a teleport on the floor giving their team a place to spawn That sound ok? |

+1. Dropship pilots should definitely be rewarded for their efforts. |

Add a general
Wormhole Technology Operation (2x) skill which needs to be level 1 to progress into
Drop Uplink Deployment (3x).
At level 3, this skill can then unlock
Mobile Reanimation Unit Operation (3x), which can be skilled to 5, unlocking variants.
For example, the most basic variant could simply be faster spawn time. The MRU Operation skill could simply give a 10% (1 second) reduction to spawn time per level.
For more complex variants, add an amount of spawns and cooldown time on the mCRU. Variants could then have more spawns, or less cooldown times.

Requirement for such SP investment should deter most kittens (you greedy, kittening kittened up kittenbags who kitten dropship pilots kittening chances at doing something kittening worthwhile. Kitten you.) from getting them just for WP farming.
