I can't say I would change my weapon choice (Mass Driver), but I do worry that it will take a long time to spec into other weapons considering the suspected "weapon specific" skills to replace the Light and Heavy skillset.
But what I probably will undo is my scattered focus in Armour specific skills and give more attention to shield. Other than that, maybe just focus on a proto suit so not so much AUR would be spent.
So what does everyone else think they would change with their second chance of skill distribution when the new build drops? |

I'm hoping allies cover their base skills before spending a single SP on suits or weapons and enemies go straight to proto suits and weapons. This way starter fits will trash proto and many laughs will be had and ISK will be hoarded. |

I've only 'wasted' about 50k SP on tier 1 weapon skills to try them out. The rest has gone exactly where I want it, so now my problem lies in redistributing it into the correct place upon reset. If anything, I'll end up gimped for a few weeks until I can make up the extra SP. |

None, all of my "mistakes" on skills where made in the closed beta, when the first reset happened i knew where and when to put my skills, so the skill refund will probably take me about 5 minutes |

Yeah, I should have learnt in build 3 to give one thing a focus, but Ive always gone for Armour tank and it was hard to break the habit this time. Not again, tho. |

Same as Skipper. Except by the time Uprising comes out, I won't have touched my PS3 in a month and a half. So I expect to have about 750k SP unused... By the time I actually get a hold of my PS3, I might even have over 2mil SP unused. Who knows?
And I know exactly what to skill for :) |

Yeah, goes without saying squishies come first. But most of us have plenty more SP after we have maxxed them out. Would you change a weapon or suit focus, tho? |

I got it right where i wanted after restarting a few times. That said I'm still going full on Drop ship... which many would call a mistake anyway.
So I'm making the same mistake again this reset. I have almost no weapon skills just LR 1. Have to see what the new tree is like for lazer rifles but i'll likely go there again. However scrambler rifles may tempt me. |

Dropsships will be pretty usefull when maps arent the size of a pinata, though i don't feel like getting in one because they tend to blow up if you look at them funny. |

After four resets I've settled on Logi/DS so I'll just repeat what I've got now but adjusted for the new stuff.
I'd probably trade small blaster turrets for laser and go for the pilot suit before upgrading the Logi. |

I started as an arbiter, decided that was a bad idea, and now I'm a shield tanked heavy on the ground and a shield tanked Myron in the air. Recently started going into the Gunnlogi as well. I think I'll just go all out at the dropship, get all shield skills to 5 and then the proto blasters I already have. First thing will be CPU and PG up to 5, though. |

It all depends how many SP i get back and where from
If i get SP back from skills i regulary use since they streamlined the entire tree then i will most likely reinvest them back in
If its an overall SP reset and i get back my 10mil in SP then great but i will have to get my calculator out and pen and work out where they will all go before i set foot on the field of battle |

Mostly none since I made several characters to test the game and skills before going perfect with this one. I guess that was a huge mistake since I would have +5 mil SP and I only got 3.5 mil. I always wanted to skill into dropships but with their current state I feel they're a waste of SP. I always wanted to skill into railgun tanks so I might do that instead of going infantry. |

I'm going full out logistics. There are so many support skills and special pieces of equipment that I'll have stuff to work on for a long time.
I don't plan on training swarm launchers again. I'll save that for the AV specialists. I will train up grenades for those vehicles that get too close though.
I don't plan on training sniper rifles again. Surely, one of those dozen snipers in the hills can shoot the enemy snipers. Right? Right?!?
That little flirtation I had with the Scrambler Pistol? Gone. The love has died.
A standard LAV is so easy to train for that I'll probably do that again just to have a solid ride if I ever need one. If Light Logistics Vehicles become useful then I'll train up to those. |

Other than the 6k to start my own tiny corp for kittens and giggles, I'm planning on making all my 'mistakes' after the respec. Basically I'm going to max out all the skill proficiencies that I would otherwise never 'waste' the ~million required SP per ~5% of improvement on. Then I'll just have to re-grind whatever essentials I can no longer afford. |

Till now I have been conservative and only skilled up the core skills and ignored suits and weapons beyond level 1. Now I have this urge to get a proto Logi then spend the next month or two after May 6th rebuilding my core skills before actually using the more expensive suits.
For me it is tough building a bank of unused SP as I start looking at skills I can put it in. So saving enough to get to level 5 proto suit would be really tough as the urge to divert it into long range scanning or other skills like light weapons would be strong.
Whereas spending a week or two getting to Shield Control 5 is doable. |

A fair call.
I deliberated on the wording due to the fact that the SP is in fact "reset" from skill choices and we will actually be doing the "respec", but horses for courses really. I guess those not aware of CCP's changes could get the wrong idea.
I added the quotation marks to "mistakes" for those deeply offended Dusters who find it an outrage that what choices they made could be called a mistake.........A box of courtesy tissues is in the process of being posted to their home address also. No givesies backsies either. |
