Good I can get all of the points I wasted for Dropships and Shotguns. I'll go full Logibro, but I won't touch the Proto until I'm done with the necessities. Max Mass Driver, Shielding, Needle, Hives, Uplink, RE, Then skills, probably Armor repair/Repair Tool. |

Other than the 6k to start my own tiny corp for kittens and giggles, I'm planning on making all my 'mistakes' after the respec. Basically I'm going to max out all the skill proficiencies that I would otherwise never 'waste' the ~million required SP per ~5% of improvement on. Then I'll just have to re-grind whatever essentials I can no longer afford. |

I only have a few skills that I mistakenly trained into. The sum of which don't even make up any significant fraction of my total SP. |

I'm not going to skill into dropships again, I'm not going to skill into scouts again, and I'm not going to skill into electronic modules again.
That alone should save me a lot of skill points. |

I'll see how dropships behave and maybe remove my massive investment in those.
I skilled wide instead of high because I was collecting data on game mechanics. I have pretty much everything at level 1.
I'll allocate my points for competitive play now |

Probably going to dedicate some thought on whether I want my proto Logistics or tanks/drop ships. I enjoy being an effective murder medic more than I enjoy trolling protostompers in my Gunloggi. 5.5m SP gives me enough to get proto logi, proto rep, and nanites on top of my core skills. |

Till now I have been conservative and only skilled up the core skills and ignored suits and weapons beyond level 1. Now I have this urge to get a proto Logi then spend the next month or two after May 6th rebuilding my core skills before actually using the more expensive suits.
For me it is tough building a bank of unused SP as I start looking at skills I can put it in. So saving enough to get to level 5 proto suit would be really tough as the urge to divert it into long range scanning or other skills like light weapons would be strong.
Whereas spending a week or two getting to Shield Control 5 is doable. |

I've gone though a few resets and already made my mistakes, and if they weren't changing the skills around, I would spec into the same exact stuff I am now. |

Please change your choice of words for subject line. It's technically a Respec, not a Reset. There is a difference. I don't mean to be a jerk about it as I'm just worried that the wording will confuse some folks who fear a reset.
A fair call.
I deliberated on the wording due to the fact that the SP is in fact "reset" from skill choices and we will actually be doing the "respec", but horses for courses really. I guess those not aware of CCP's changes could get the wrong idea.
I added the quotation marks to "mistakes" for those deeply offended Dusters who find it an outrage that what choices they made could be called a mistake.........A box of courtesy tissues is in the process of being posted to their home address also. No givesies backsies either. |

I'm going to be dropping the SP I have in HAVs at the moment. Most likely it'll go into core armour skills. I quite like the look of a complex armour repper + complex plate. |

With the new info/rumours that have come about Uprising over the last 2 weeks, I thought I would refresh this topic to see if anyone has further thoughts on where they may re-spec. |
