They've confirmed they're BPCs, or "blueprint copies" with one use each. Basically, they're starting to emphasise the EVE terminology that most people on the forums are familiar with and using already, but they seem to have forgotten that the tutorial doesn't establish this pattern.

Need to correct you in here. The rewards for the event are Blueprint Copies (BPC). For info the 'Exile' Rifle is a Blueprint Original item with unlimited use.

Also, I don't understand why the rewards are just standard gear if they're not actual blueprints (reusable)? Give proper rewards if they're not blueprints (reusable). Like the state protectorate suits etc.

Like the state protectorate suits etc. You're using a different definition of the term "blueprint" to that which is common in New Eden. Patents in the world of EVE are protected by limiting the number 'runs' a blueprint has left on it. A manufacturer of any item will need a blueprint with free licensed runs to be able to produce, using up one run per batch. For some items one run will yield a batch of items (ammo), for most one run will yield one item (ships, turrets, modules etc.). A blueprint is a set of instructions on how to manufacture an item. There are two types of blueprints in EVE, you can tell the difference between them by the number of runs remaining. Blueprint originals (BPOs) have an infinite number of licenced runs. One of their more common uses is the production of blueprint copies. Blueprint copies (BPCs) have a limited number of licensed runs. They are intended solely for production. Every time you produce a batch from a BPC the number of licensed runs left will decrease.

Unfortunately, given the fact that the tutorial still refers only to BPOs as "blueprints", it's still misleading for DUST players who haven't been around here much, and the tutorial descriptions (both text and voice) need to be fixed to avoid problems like this in future.

For now no bill of materials. It simply means you have a limited run just like if you bought them off the market.
