If i were to die, i rather dies to a good swarm laucher rather than a noob squad running around with militia swarms..
AV stuff is OP, well not all of it, some is up like AV grenades... Flux grenade is what i call op, it deals 2000 damage to my tank with one grenade also you get 3 of them which makes it worse |

7500, plus any active resister that prevents, what? 30% damage? Then a recharger that'll get you 200 some odd shield every couple seconds for 30 seconds or something.
Try not driving like you're invincible because you're in a tank, maybe. |

surge mod lasts for 10 seconds it takes like 5 seconds for gernade to blow up and like 5 more for me to start moving |

talking bout the tank... my tanks isnt that fast and normally, the only place i get fluxed is in a tight place where my tank cant move much but tihs is bout the flux being OP |

So you get over 1000hp back, and can have passive, and active resisters which should give you an effective hp of over 10000, and you're having trouble getting away from a guy on foot throwing grenades at you?
And if shields are the problem, it certainly doesn't take you 5 seconds to start driving, or even to get far enough away. They're the faster one. |

While I do think the Militia Swarm is too strong, it sounds like you have other problems. If it takes 5 seconds to start moving and you are in a shield tank, then you're doing it wrong. Flux Grenades only harm shields so if they're causing you problems, switch to an armor tank. At the very least, Flux Grenades won't be the things killing you. It'll be AV Grenades. |

I know exactly how fast they are.
10 second buffs are enough to give you protection and let you get the **** outta Dodge. It sounds like you need to play your tank smarter. They aren't automatic "30-0" machines, you need to still play like you can die. |

dude all tanks are slow to turn around, flux grenades dont do much to me in the open as they do in enclosed areas such as under buildings.... but the thing is they do wayy more damage than they should, i say they should do about 1000-1200 not 2000+ |

More often than not, my Sica (Militia shield tank) survives the entire battle when I call it in.
It has a little over 6000 EHP, and costs less than 300,000 ISK to fit.
If I can keep that alive, you can keep a properly fitted tank alive. You just need to learn how. |

See, the dude bought a TANK. A tank. Tanks are supposed to mean that he gets a million kills and can't die. He should be shrugging off all grenades and rockets and bullets and getting a bunch of killer head shots. But that's not what happened. Ergo, swarm launchers and grenades are OP.

With that said, Swarm Launchers OP? I'd hate to see them underpowered cuz they just bounce of my DS like a pidgeon of a Semi. It takes 4 hits near simultaneously to get me nervous...BUFF the kitten out of em....BRING IT ON!!!!!

Also, to point out, when you're a tank and someone spawns with a launcher, that is now a player on their team who is totally defenseless (discounting an smg or pistol) against everybody else on the map, effectively taking one of their players out of the game. Even more if multiple people are out to get you with launchers and forge guns, which is usually the case. |

AV is pretty solid and balanced, I've never been able to so easily take out any vehicles that aren't trash (ie, STD or higher tanks, dropships and LAVs are made out of paper and any hits can make a dropship unflyable) with my miltia AV gear. It takes organised, concentrated fire to take down even a halfway-decent gunnlogi, and can be nigh impossible based on how the driver handles it.
I think the problem lies not with your soma, but with how you drive your soma.
Forge guns are hilarious fun don't mess with forge guns, I like an AV weapon I can both shoot tanks and people with and dropships with. |
