Why would this be a trolling thread? I threw it up here because my shots were missing by stupid margins because I'm trying to avoid being hit by a tank. I'm not saying I shouldn't miss at all, but it's stupid to call it a powered exo suit if the case is such that I can't hit at all while I'm trying to avoid being hit. Maybe they should just give us a medieval suit of armor and leave it at that, since so many people want the heavy class removed from Dust. Because, that is their end game with so many nerfs, which is the same thing they want done with tanks.

For the first question. "Papa Breakin Stuff, why does my forge gun aim suck?" Well Junior, The forge gun requires a bit of setup work. Ideally you get to a high point where the bitchy tank cant see you. Then you delete his ass!

I use an assault forge, the tool of a discerning murdermonkey. You cant hold a charge, but it fires faster and hits like a truck dropped on you from orbit. If you cannot hit a vehicle odds are you are suffering from a problem related to your sharpshooter skill. namely "He's out of your kittening range!"
Heres the rub kids, killing tanks with forges? Its not hard. But you overthink the process. If I can clip a dropship moving ahead full and slap it out of the sky, you can hit a rolling metal box.
Because running heavy and scout require the same mindset. "No fu**s are given when I step on the field."
If you are worried about ISK, or KDR, and you are not in it purely for the noise, violence and mayhem, go switch to assault and Logi before its too late.
By the way, You all look mighty comfortable in those fancy dropsuits...
