More 'Mercenary Battles' for the Euro crowd i see. 18:00 - 22:00 GMT surely is not aimed at the North American based players.
I'd like to know if this will continue to be the trend. I'm already one 'Merc Pack' in on this game, and im considering buying another one. But seriously this Euro-centric skewed timing of Merc Battles is really grating to the teeth!
Edit: i appreciate CCP is Europe based, but at least hire a few server managers in North America so we can enjoy some of these events, if staying up is beyond the staff compliment in Europe. |

I would like to be able to choose sides as I plan on Rping my character and dont want past conflicts coming up in my bio that may make me look bad to future allies and contacts.If I am given the opportunity to choose I can only blame myself for the choices that I make or have made.If the choices we make will effect the landscape I simply put to you. What choice?
In the future I would like to see a que for side A or side B then when a match comes up the server would join me to that side.Some dont care which side they fight for but you say choices I see none other than quitting match after match until I get the side I want to play for.Please reply if I should be using the a fore mentioned method top establish this "choice" that I have, and if this is the method you would like us to use please state that to the community so we can see how you can go about changing that.Lets get those Ideas flowing in this thread.
P.S some of the other ps players may not know the significance of some of these matches or dont care but some of us do.Ive been reading Evelopidia for the past month like its my job.Fighting against the State and Tiberious Heth is a rather significant battle one that I would think that should have a little more lead up time to.
I mean for example "Hey guys this weekend the Minmitar set there sights on Amarr Prime.....Lock and load" .huh what? |

Its still a beta!!!!!! Why do you people keep thinking this is the complete game? Everyone who has read up even a little on this game knows we will have many many more options in the full release. So either do better research or go back to a game that can be produced in less than a year. I personally don't care if it takes another year to release I'm just happy the beta is available. I remember getting excited about this game years ago when I first heard about it |

Always with the its a beta..sound like a broken record.
One outcome for a scripted event with the illusion of relavance for the players that were fooled into believing they could influence the outcome instead of just participating on the narrative....
What choice in which side you fight for.Am I missing something? Where was the ...If you want to fight for the State press X the Feds press Square? |

Point me in the right direction that states that there will NOT be region specific merc battles. Because as far as I see unless a merc battle is open to the global community (as was the case with Caldari prime) then it is only offered at the convenience of the European players.
I fail to see why the game being in beta (damn good game tho it may be) affects the times that these merc battles are offered. If anything I'm pissed when I'm at work and being a good soldier, checking the forum periodically for updates, I see that a mercbattle will be offered, and will END just 1hr b4 I get home. #sucks! |

There have been events run at 4am GMT, in the middle of the night for Europe, but at decent times for the US. AFAIK, Australia and NZ miss out on both TZ's.
There won't be region specific times for battles. Instead, there will be battles around the clock. If another corp wants to fight at 4am GMT, then there'll be a fight at 4am GMT. If they want a fight at 6pm GMT, there'll be a fight at 6pm. Kay? |

Ok.I Get that corp battles are more time flexible, I was more grousing about the sheduled times for merc battles. I however was unaware of the 4am gmt battles, so thanks for that. I suspect that this game is big in asia also, considering the number of japanese squads I played yesterday (late morning admittedly). So they should be considered too. |

Jamstar, there's an asian region. A battle cluster dedicated solely for China, as they have their own dedicated EVE server. I'm not so sure about the Japanese. |

That's right mercs, the Caldari State holds the ground on Caldari prime (Glory for the State!) but the Caldari Navy fleet above has been wiped out. Remember the Shiigeru! |
