Maybe they could email Dust support to try and get removed from the corp that way? Though it seems unlikely support would do anything, but might be worth a try if you are certain IE leadership is doing this and it is indeed a glitch.

But if it's a legit tactic (rather than exploitable glitch) then really there isn't much they can do except try to get IE to boot them (they gotta use their imagination on that one )

Well some unhappy internal error guys decided to ditch internal error and join UnReaL. They wernt happy with the leaders promises never being followed up. Not to mention they were upset that leaders were harassing Obi, a former member of Internal, error because he owned beers and a squad of internal error in a pubgame. So i told them to send a app, and they did. The game said they had held a leadership role in the last 24 hours (All 5 of them got this message). I told them its probably just a glitch wait it out and tomorrow and we'll pick you up. Tommorow comes to my suprise thier time has reset! LOL really beers? Really? It's bad enough you can't keep your players happy, now your going to hop online everyday and give them a leadership role then take it off so they cant leave. Well we got one out of the 5 today, hopefully we can get some more tomorrow but it all depends. CCP please remove this it's sad that people like beers can force people to stay when they want to leave.

It's pretty common EVE practice. *shrug* It's just putting in a 24 hour notice. I think it's strange this is even an issue.

Actually, I was testing an old corp bug that existed years ago in Eve that resulted in us having corp stasis periods. After I discovered it I brought it to CCP's attention left it off the forums to prevent it from being abused, so kudos for you putting this publicly out there. Luckily it requires and Eve account, so the fallout shouldn't be too bad.

It'll be interesting to see how you guys fair in district war seeing as you are always "getting prepared" and never seem to have the level of gear you feel required to face us. I really feel bad for the folks in your corp now though. Facing an abismal future of pickup games and pub stomping with no hope of surviving the greater war coming for you.

I heard Hellstorm enjoyed their match against you guys as well. Nice hear you guys are up to using proto suits and officer weapons. I really think it might be a bad idea to try and wait for some knew mythical magic bullet you can kill us with. Everyone knows you're just shooting blanks.

It's a shame you can't see beyond your nose or your own wallet. And, no, the man behind the curtain isn't your friend, but he does have some surprises in store for you.

They could just... leave the corp. Then just wait 24 hours, submit an app, and presto. He can't prevent them from leaving the corp entirely, and he can't pull them back in unless they submit an app.

The 24 hours is the time needed before you are allowed to quit the Corp. You are stuck 'in' the Corp for 24 hours before you are able to quit. The problem being you can't refuse the roles in Dust yet so the CEO could if they so wished reset the 24 hour timer whenever they wanted. It sounds like that is not at all what happened here though.

You sent me a hate mail crying that I shouldn't try so hard when I was using ScoutA with shields no dmg mods and you got smashed twice wearing proto and dmg mods. First let me say I can confirm there is a bug with Corp roles. I had to wait 48 hours to leave a Corp I had roles in and I know nobody set them back on me, it was a weird bug where it restarted the timer after the 24 hour period was up. This was about 2 months ago at this point.

If Kane knew there was a possibility his role testing could result in a players time in a Corp he no longer wanted to be in getting extended I think it was the wrong move. If not an innocent mistake that turned into a big situation due to a misunderstanding.

honestly though, Negative Feedback doesn't need players so fickle - 3 corps in a month? obi-wan being a ****, gets kicked then reinvited? these kind of members will spread like cancer to other members in the corp and turn them off / make them leave.

Every corp needs to be weary of players like this, this is one of the reasons why recruitment in eve is so extensive - so we don't have to put up with **** like this from players who really couldn't give a **** about the corp.

Who cares what the other team is running with right now? PC has not been implemented yet and even the stupid stats are not updating correctly.

Ive run into a squad of IMPs doing their usual proto pub stomp. I went negative.. sure. But I used an 8k suit, still made ISK and learned a good bit from it. You arent going to learn squat or get any better by just facing people you know you can beat.

Who gives a kitten about reputation? Im a random blank faced toon mouthing off to other random blank faced toons. While I take pride in what semblance of skill I have, it has negligible impact on my life as a whole beyond enjoyment.
