In the Planetary Conquest thread the Devs asked for what roles / titles CEOs would like to see in Dust 514.
Other than Director, at a minimum, I would like to see the following five roles / titles:
Recruiter - Ability to view and process applications
Accountant - Similar to EvE in that this role would allow the individual to access corporation wallets (All except maybe one wallet division / or seleted level of access).
Jr Accountant - Access to one assigned wallet (Master Wallet). Different than EVE in that this role allows more than just viewing the wallet.
Ground Commander - Can buy starter clone packs to initiate Planetary Conquest and Issue / Accept Contracts on behalf of the corporation.
Fitting Manager - Allows the player to create and save corporation fits
Personally, I would like to see more of the customization EVE allows for in corporation management but at a basic level I think we need to be able to delegate the common daily tasks such as recruiting, initiating fights / getting players organized, and managing corp funds (at a limited level).
Any other CEO's out there with certain permissions they feel are absolutely essential? Because lets be honest....Only having the Director role is real PITA to work around without putting your corp at risk. |

I wish corp roles were a higher priority. But what can you do. You've got a pretty solid list. I cant think of anything to add to it. Can you explain what you mean by corporation fits though? |

Love it. I'm hoping once CCP finishes fanfest they might start kicking it into getting. We are only about 8mo away from the PS4 and they are not even halfway done with this game.(I can only speculate how far along they are but this can't be it!) |

I'd rather they just had Access Groups that you could create, name, check boxes for things the AG could do, and then you just add members to the group. That way each corp could just create their own structure. |

In EVE you can create titles and assign roles to the titles.
Roles that I listed such as Accountant and Jr. Accountant are both assignable roles in EVE.
Thus the reason my OP states "At a minimum". I would also just like to see the EVE options in Dust but my guess is the detail and complexity might be a bit more than CCP is willing to do with the user interface. Sooo many check boxes. |

This is an amazing thread, I'm surprised it doesn't have more hits, this is a crucial part of gameplay that needs to be implemented asap. Corporate Espionage is already starting to grow within DUST and I think this would be a useful tool.
I think we should have Boxes to check the same as Baal Roo, we have it on EVE and I was more than happy to step down from my director position because I had practically the same roles. |

I don't play Eve so I don't know the names of titles granted in Eve. But a Recruiter role described above will help. I agree with acct role...one that can see the wallet but can not disperse funds.
I would also like to see a role that will allow a non-director to view and accept contracts (although, the current corp battling system will disappear). Not sure how this role can be used in planetary conquest.....maybe if a contract was issued by a real eve corp.....or, maybe for faction warfare. |

EVE does have the ability to create fully customizable 'titles''.
You can assign entire 'roles' to said titles, but you can also get in there and assign specific powers to each title.
Just on a note, you can use an EVE-side client that has the authority to assign 'some' rles to DUST players... seems to work with some aspects, but is also very buggy, causing massive DCs and system freezes when you try do something that you aren't actually allowed to do.
Anything short of a m Director causes these issues. |

This is an issue that needs to be addressed. It works great on EVE, people don't complain about not being a director when you can substitute the roles with something else more geared towards their job. |

:D Yes, this is something we very much want to do and is on our minds. We also want to see one of those roles add the ability to kick players from corporation matches.
I will keep an eye on this thread for a bit (and probably bookmark it) since we haven't done it yet (or even planned when or how) and will come back to it when we do get around to it. |

Communications: The ability to remote mute people The ability to set MOTD. The ability to make dust-only Corp evemails The ability to make dust-only corp bulletins
Accounting: Access to dust-side corp wallet
Logistics: Access to a (someday) corp armory Fitting manager - save corp fittings
Command: Accept corp matches/Planetary Conquest Remotely promote people to squad leader Kick people from squads/matches Can set planetary reinforcement timers
Recruitment: Accept applications Place recruitment ads
These are just the things I can think of off the top of my head that have pretty close parallels in EVE and need to exist for PC to work. |

Custom chat channels are probably your best bet for this. What happens for people already in a match? Or in a squad? Who becomes squad leader? Or all sorts of things. Chat channel means you can easily see who is online and easily invite them to a squad when you are ready to play together. |

I will keep an eye on this thread for a bit (and probably bookmark it) since we haven't done it yet (or even planned when or how) and will come back to it when we do get around to it. CEO and full-access Directors (It would be nice to have both non-combat and full-access Directors with the former having limited access to PC functions and no specific authority on the battlefield) should have "kick" authority, as should a Ground Commander. Preferably there should be a Designated Squad Leader role which also has this authority. Or alternatively, the Gorund Commander (or CEO/Director) should be able to assign Squad Leaders when entering a battle, and anyone given a Squad Leader role for that battle will have kick authority over the members of their squad.
EDIT: Ideally, there should be the option for the CEO (or anyone with equivalent access) to create custom roles with custom access levels in various aspects of Corp managements. let CEOs create and name roles within the Corp that have access to different levels of functionality within the Corp.
For Corp wallet/armoury access, it should be possible to set various levels of access rather than a binary "full access or none at all" system like we have now with CEO/Directors vs. everyone else. |

You can see whose online but not what squads they are in. Seeing whose in what squad would be a better suggestion here. That way someone could join an open squad? perfect to join a squad already in game that has an open spot |

I like a lot of these role suggestions. One suggestion I would have in reference to the dust wallet would rather than a single accountant role with full access I would like 3 roles
1 Accountant -- full complete access and control to wallet and funds ( would be nice to have the daily isk limit setting for this role like the junior accountant role proposed below if we can't get that seperate role)
2 Auditor -- ability to monitor wallet balance and see transaction history. view only access to the wallet( by the way we really need even without these roles a transaction history for the wallet ASAP)
3 Junior Accountant -- full complete access and control to corp wallet with a daily isk transfer limit set by the corp CEO. This gives the CEO the ability to allow someone to have the ability perhaps to spend no more than 1 million isk per day or whatever amount they designate. Kind of like a petty cash fund thing. This also allows the CEO to perhaps ramp up the daily limit until they trust someone enough to give them the full Accountant role.
I really think these roles are very important and especially want the ability to set limits on the accountant or junior accountant.

I also think that the Ground Commander/CEO/directors should have the ability to manipulate and build squads. This way we can have squads built around efficiency and who works well with others. |

Pretty much agree with all that.
I would add a Titles Officer with the ability to give or alter a title of anyone below the 'rank' of the player with it. That way Department heads can give promotions to anyone in their department without having to bother anyone higher up.
And when salvage and corp lockers come in were going to need some 'locker access' type roles as well.
I know CCP's Nullabor and FoxFour are working on it right now and I want them to know its very, very much appreciated by us CEO's but I've got to say that this really should've been a higher priority to make the Uprising patch but it seems the 'shiney' took precedence. |

Those are obvious. Too bad we're not getting any of this until another 5-6 month. Neither that or tax, nor transaction history or anything that could have ease our pain in the meantime. |

Actually it's more likely that we will get this come May 6th as it was mentioned as what we will have access to in the latest Dust/EVE link video CCP did.
