Tanks are not the problem, it is the lack of team work to take out the tank. Teamwork is a tanks cryptonite. Even with all that armor and shields when I had 5 guys shooting at me with swarm launchers and a few with a/v grenades. There wasn't shyt I could do. I tell you this (although I shouldn't) so that you are not misconceived and get on here and complain about tanks. Your probably just venting, however your mad at the wrong thing. |

And its over 10000 for me right now stop bragging, it only boost your e-peen and that is for scrubs.
And I actually have a thread about this , there I explain by without having to pay a penny at all , how to wipe out a million ISK tank by getting half the team to go nuts (lol nublets) |

The AV is catching up to tanks around now. I constantly have to keep my distance or ill get insta poped by a ton of av grenades. Ive had to change my playstyle i now have to play defensive. The new rushing in a tank is changing your view to see the enemy xD. Trust me its a hard knock life for us  No really though the av is very strong with damage mods its slightly too strong. If your have a problem its a skill level problem (not in game skills) |

I can and do, but driving a tank is more fun, especially with all the fan mail.
Best thing about driving a tank, half the enemy team goes AV and focus so much on killing my tank they forget to actually win the game. |

On a side note scrub:Tankers actually spend a truckload of SP into tanks so they don't have decent dropsuits but they will probably kill you in militia gear too :P |

I do, mostly because every time one of you destroy my tank I have to spend the next 5 games on foot trying to earn it back. Plus the fact that I spend more time running away and trying avoid AV that some games I hardly end up even killing 4-5 people with my tank (and it is a decent tank). You probably spend so much time running AV against the tank he can't fight you so then the infantry sweeps you so that guy you see with 22/1 might not even be the tank driver, it might be some infantry guy killing all the people running AV.
I used to have 10 tanks in reserve and now I have 4, that's a 3 million isk lose for me. So yes, AV is effective. |
