the steps you should take should be flexible and can change in a instant. I play with several squads (Hey Syther) and some of them just love to hunt Snipers, Red Line or not.
Manus Peak top of the hill, easy pickings. Or at the other end there is a small hill between the MCC and the ground spawn. I just finished a match and we got the sniper there as well as on the buildings in the Red. Good times when they run back to the ground spawn thinking they are safe and they get dropped as soon as they jump out of their LAV.
Hunting Snipers is fun. Even when I miss, as soon as they start running and CoD hopping then they sure aren't sniping. If they aren't too far back a Scout Shotty can run up and pop them from behind and they are so intent on their scope they never see it coming. Hmm. My alt should try using a Mass Driver for Sniper Denial.
Given a choice I prefer to hunt them with a Large Rail Gun. Vaporized Snipers smell like Victory. |

I like it when 5 people waste time trying to hunt me, while just doing objectives would win the match. I hate it when its 5 fans trying to teamkill me. |

The thing is - if redline sniping could bring about victory then sure knock yourself out. The reason it gets so much hate is because it pretty much garuntees your team won't win. To protect your precious kdr you stop contributing to the win. That's why 99.99999999% percent of the time redline sniping is for pussies |

99.99999999% so what you mean we have like 1/3th of a player who redline snipers is a pussie ? (that's implying we have like 3 million players) |

The more people that are redline sniping, the less people that are taking objectives, it's a good way to lose easy |

(so this can mean you should look at winning matches and redline sniping can be one of the ways spawn camping can be another one ccp can patch these out in a instant so be ready and don't complain when things don't always works the same way every time) Redline sniping=*****. |

I like to hunt them in dropship's, if I have gunners they go down quickly, if I don't I squish them
After all they can't snipe if they're running around trying to avoid getting squished |

I agree that redline sniping should be encouraged, but not for veteran and elite players.
I used the tactic to improve my aim and coordination. Then I grew up and switched to tactical sniping, ARs, and assault tanks. I hate being away from all the intense action on the field.
Seeing myself get killed by a high level tactical sniper rifle on the redline always makes me wanna laugh. Grow a pair. Get some skills. See you on the actual battlefield!

Redline snipers should be kicked from the battle.
Redline sniping doesn't help by much. ive had tons of matches where a corp member in team speak has sat back and giving us lintel on where the enemy team is provided cover fire to corp members who have been pined down even defended points single-highhandedly from the base id like to see some one in a assault suit do more than just run at the target shoot them and hope they die every person he spots will die or be in a position that we will never show up to and be useless to his team we don't kill him since we don't need to its not about kd/r its about winning the battle and winning the war
Cool story, bro. Unfortunately it has absolutely nothing to do with redline sniping. |
