It's mostly because of the SP gap and broken health/damage mods. The few guys who do decent have been playing the game for a while and have been given a rather large health bonus. Everyone else is trying the game out for their first time and, whether good or bad at shooters, get stomped by the guys who've put in more time than them.
Which causes them to delete the game off their hard drive. You will never see 99% of thee same "bad "players ("bad" in quotes because they're not necessarily bad, they're just at a big disadvantage in terms of SP/equipment) by the following day as they will have already quit playing out of frustration. Of course by then they'll be replaced by new downloaders.
1% will give the game a few more days of their time, accumulate the SP necessary for higher level equipment after getting pubstomped repeatedly, then become pubstompers themselves once they've put on their health mods.
Then they start stomping on newbies and the cycle continues. |

I have been in matches where one side rules, with about 50% damage to the shield of the MCC when the other is destroyed. And sorry to say, I hate those matches. Simply because the winning side ruled the game so totally and never gave the other side a chance. My solution? I leave the battle even if I am on the winning side. I find no joy in situations like that.
On the other hand, I have been in tough matches where I somehow ended up at the top with zero kills.. go figure I am focusing on the tactical part of a Skirmish, and I try to repair/revive my team mates. And giving them uplinks to spawn when we loose all capture points.
OH, my K/D ratio is only like 0.06 I am starting to get some kills lately, so I expect that to improve with time haha
Reading the comments in this thread is actually rather nice. I don't agree with the OP, but he and the opposing side have SOME good points. But this isn't black and white.
And do you know if these "crappy" players are aware of the objective? I always select Skirmish, but sometimes end up in Ambush. I'd say one might be trying to reach the wrong objective... |

The type of Ambush match the OP describes can be a gold mine for War Points. Make sure you are in GÇ£No SquadGÇ¥ then make sure you always have a Drop Uplink down.
I made 1000wp with only 2 kills and maybe a couple of assists in one very quick match. Over 800 wp just from team spawns. Seems to be the best way to make WP with my lousy aim. The faster the Blaeberries die the faster you make WP. It is all gravy on top of whatever WP you would normally make from kills.
It has the added advantage of being the right thing to do strategically, provided you place them in appropriate locations, so you will not feel dirty doing it. |
