Dude dont go into this no skill buisness. In every game people run around pretending like one particular set up is the pro set, FPS bravado and all that crap.

Do those who actually revert to sniping when they are being red lined actually think they are benefiting the team in helping those who are still trying to take the points? Getting a couple lucky kills against other snipers is not helping. Running in with me as an assault class or any other class that DOES NOT HAVE A SNIPER would benefit the team more. If I see a sh*it load of allies sniping, then you better watch your ass, because i'll be running you all down until you get the point that you are of no use to the team.

I snipe the whole game, sometimes from the redline. If our team is pushed back to the redline, they shouldn't start sniping trying to get a few skills, they should stick with what they're specced into and try to take back some points. As a sniper who frequently gets first place, I wish you would look at what you said a bit more critically. Us halfway-competent snipers can lockdown objectives and make groundtroops question showing themselves in entire areas of the battlefield. If the assault guys on the ground would handle business and not run around like headless chickens, us decent snipers would be more apt to help. We're not all bad, but most of us are.

I try my best to contribute to the team by holding objectives, area denial, relaying information, etc. The K/D just comes with it it's not the end all be all. Some snipers out there are doing more than you think in terms of contributing to the team. Again, most are awful but there's a few good ones out there that really do help turn the tide.

Thats repectable. dude i came first on the leader board on one map my score 0/7 if i was that type of player id be the typical Assault suit ar shield tanking player you see today no im running around in the scout suit placing drop links capping points spotting tanks using anti vehicle caping installations im getting sick of people who just run around with a ar and kill people you know if you actually try and take your time capping a point is REALLY easy you just need to wait till there all spawned and moving to the front line

I break spawncamps for my team. When this results in nothing more than a second sniper perch, I facepalm, and continue to try and find an opening from which to turn the match around, or I give up and just go on a Shotgun killing spree, preferentially targeting enemies who are heading towards a position our Snipers can hit them. Or letting heavies get into Sniper LoS and take a few hits before stealing the kill. Good times.

I killed/scared them off for long enough for the people in the proper suits to break through and cap a point. both games were lost causes unfortunately, but I feel my contributions( covering the assaults, logi's and heavies) made it a less curbstompy loss.

I've even had games where my -entire squad- sniped. Lacking a ridiculous sniper, having snipers work in tandem is more effective. Two snipers picking the same tarkets are guaranteed to get kills, and lots of them. Having discovered -that- for myself and having been seemingly one-shot in my heavy suits before, I started having a certain appreciation for the coordination necessary for those snipers running in pairs in Skirmish. There's a significant level of coordination required to pull off a successful snipe-squad like that. Having a third man to counter-countersnipe keeps them alive. The counter-counter might die, but the primary snipers keep on trucking.
