They will need to do a reset. If they do not this is NOT a BETA. They use the word BETA only to hide the insecurities of their ability to make a game and keep up with consumer expectations. IF there is no reset to start things over on game release than the game is already OFFICIALLY released. There is no such thing releasing a product out of beta state that is already used and tested with finger prints still on product. Beta is used for testing the game and finding out glitches and preparing for the end product. There is no way in hell you can release something allowing game testers (beta testers) to keep everything they have earned in beta.
The only thing I could sympathize for the beta testers is that we get in return the money they have spent with merc packs they have bought or aur they have bought during BETA. Once more IF there is no plans on reset once the game is officially released than the game is NOT in BETA anymore it is OFFICIALLY RELEASED. So take off the this game is in beta and being worked on. Most games that are released are still being worked on. Stop using words like BETA just to lower expectations if this game is already released. |

and xero this is quite clearly still a beta, the majority of the features haven't even been released yet and this is far from the quality a released product should have, i will state though that i don't think this game should have gone into open beta quite yet, way to early and gives people a poor impression of the game. |

It is in beta right now because they are generous enough to allow everybody opportunity to play this potentially great game.I give them props for that. I just think IF you are going to release game you have to start it a new. You can't release a product officially and have everybody already at top tier day1 of official release. If they don't plan on reset the game is official regardless what's missing or what isn't. |

Thanks for responding to my thread Hercules. The reason I am wondering is because it seems VERY likely that their would be a reset. Look at all the other games that had a "beta". The beta players stats were all reset, But I digress.
