Tank stealing is now getting absurd. I deployed a tank, stood almost next to it when it was dropped, walked up to the tank, hammered circle, but still could not get in as driver. I then had to watch as some noob drove up to 2 railguns and trashed my 450K tank. For gods sake, do something about people stealing vehicles, I just had to take a 10 minute break, its really frustrating when you save up for a tank, only for some idiot to steal it and trash it.
It winds me up even more that someone is prepared to take a tank that does not belong to them, but I guess stealing is human nature, unless you do something about it. |

This is because there is a new bug since the last patch that when the dropship drops your vehicle you lose possession and are locked out like everyone else. |

You guys need a vehicle lock or something. I'm surprised they havent done something about it yet. Its been happening since the beginning and drivers have been asking for it since the beginning. I also think its dumb that someone with no sp into tanks can hop into a non militia tank and drive away. Inorder to drive it, they should need the sp skills. If I jumped into a tank, i'd have no clue how to operate it, ive never been trained. |

Happened to me today with a drop ship.
He didn't crash it as quickly as I thought he would... But still ate swarms and trashed my baby :( |

This is sill happening had first hand experience today.
my nephew was playing and called in a tank this soso 0551241 ran him over and then stole my tank.
CCP this needs fixing now and you are selling tanks for AUR Makes no sense to me and will put people off. |

Getting teamkilled and having your tank stolen isn't the same as the RDV lockout bug.
And yes they are selling tanks for Aurum because people would rather spend .25 cents on a tank than 1 mil isk. Honestly following the pattern that CCP has been setting I wouldn't be surprised if they increase the ISK cost of everything and put a hard cap of 200k isk a game. |

Since RDV pilots won't drop your vehicle near where you call it OR will simply fly around in circles for a minute, your suggestion isn't plausable.
How does spawning work again? Oh yea it spawns all the bluedots on top of you. |

Going to have to agree... Game is in beta because **** like this SHOULDN'T be happening. This isn't a "boo hoo, I was driving my tank and it got blown up" thread. Then I would agree that the OP needs to shut his whiney hole...but it isn't so the whole cavalier, HTFU crap gets old and fast.
If I was in charge of building space age tanks, jeeps and dropships I would...I don't know...have a computer panel in the cabin that required telemetrics or something. Put your thumbprint on the scanner, if you're allowed to drive the vehicle it fires up. If you're some chump a nice British lady's voice could say "get your ass in the backseat!" out of the speakers... |

There are many HTFU guys on here. I check their post history and most are clearly children or adults with the minds of children, like our one HTFU poster in this thread, mr yourdeadagain (note the childish name too). They don't understand games, or business or the mechanics of retention so I just dismiss their verbal ejaculations as the poorly thought out responces they always are.
"Stay away from Bluedots" If this is the trolls true belief then it is a system that should be in place for infantry too. You spawn in and if I activate on you in 5 seconds I can take your suit, gun and all and you end up with nothing and have to pay to spawn again in a new suit. That would be equal and fair. Your infantry suit is locked, I can't take your gear but you think you can take mine. Childish trolls do you want that? I bet not.
I fly. I want locks. All the non attention seeking trolls that drive/fly do. We have been asking for a long time. I am sure it is coming. |
