Especially given the starter pack, we need p2p trading ASAP.
They put a band aid on the skill cap, now lets get a sloppy trading window ASAP, so we can pollute local into a bazaar/auction house until CCP can give us a real market.
Lets get those BPOs out to the less fortunate.
Edit: I should be clear, I am talking about things that can be fixed in a quick manner. New suits, skills, weapons, et al need to be playtested, so expecting a hot fix isn't realistic. |

Don't fret.
Something sloppy will be barfed up, but it will not be ASAP but so late it's a crisis as per the usual CCP practice. |

Anyways guys, thanks for expressing your interest in more ability to explore your station environments. Right now we're focused on the core gameplay of DUST 514, but in the future anything is possible. Letting us know you want more of this stuff is a good first step.

Very Soon would be very good to start saying something. It's been weeks since we didnt get any solid news. Cast 514 ep9 was all talk, we need screens, actual news, deblogs at some point. |

I think they've technically been on vacation till the 21st (Even if some of them got back to work early). I think we can expect some murmur of information in the near future. |

Im confused.
While I appreciate your posting, its really great to have a Developer actually come in and talk to us. I wonder if you can help me answer a question. Why do we have two community managers, whoes extent of thier interaction seems to be posting rote announcements and making 0-8 twitter remarks a day?
I mean, isn't the definition of a "community manager" someone who manages the community, including you know (crazy idea incoming) talking regulary with the majority of the community through Dust 514s own forums. Twitters nice but I think they should move away from that and start talking to people on the forums. Because its comes across as elitist.
Also why is the interaction with the Dust team about 85% less than interaction with devs on the eve online forum. Im not saying this to be a cynical troll, Im saying this because the lack of interaction with the community is becoming more painfully obvious with every passing day. We have two community managers whoes interactions with the community at large is worryingly minimal (IRC doesn't count) and the slack is been taken up by a fiction writing dev, props to you sir, mad props. |

I know they were on holidays the past couple of weeks. But still, the latest devblog is the one about open beta coming. And the last real devblogs is from 10th december about war and profit. And it already was pretty empty.

Time to talk about what people are playing dust for : persistence, conquest, corporations, Yeah I will agree, its kinda odd when they say they're going to ramp up the frequency of Devblogs and then post them less often. Oh well...who knows how the CCP Corporate Pipeline works. |

Thats another thing thats wierd, consistantly, high tier devs promise devs blogs and they never arrive when they're supposed to. I mean how difficult is it to post a dev blog? I get the whole spell check, review procedures that have to exist to make sure everyone is on the same page, but ccp internal magazine is published more regularly than a Dust dev blog . Its really not good enough guys. Are the webpages made of Zydrine II that can only be mined in a stargateless system in the Black rise? |

Yeah, i can dig up 2 maybe 3 videos from September, December, and then last cast 514 where you can pretty much hear "Hey no worries, devblogs every week now guys, woot woot !"
And then, jack.... |

We are aware of the disparity in the amount of dev blogs, forum posts, and other interaction in comparison to the EVE Online devs. Let me assure you we are working to get you guys more of those things and we understand there has been a lack of it recently. There are some hurdles to overcome on our end in making this happen but we're actively discussing them.

Its hard to see through the great "forum wall", Im sure there are lots of productive "lets get communication sorted guys" meetings in Dust HQ. Without communication players make up thier own minds about whats going on. I personally, am starting to think the DUST team arn't taking communication with the player base seriously. Or at least the lessons the eve team has learned about communication hasn't been taken on board by thier collegues. At least thats how it appears. |

Fair enough. I think everyone understands that what you guys are doing is exceedingly difficult and will of course come with its own problems, so delays are expected. Honestly I think people would be happy with something like you just posted "Hey guys we want to show you some new things but unfortunately we're running into problems so we can't right now." but as a more..."official" post if you will.
It may seem superficial to some, but I think a lot of your players just like to be reassured that you ARE working on it, even if its not a fully fleshed out DevBlog, some transparency on what you're working on/trying to fix would do wonders in regards to community unrest when it comes to lack of information.
We are all obviously enjoying the game enough that we're eager to learn more! Just make an effort to keep us all more in the loop, even if you cant give us much solid information about content.
But that's just how I see it. |

A short quickfix to this problem would be to give us corporate hangars. It should be FAR easier to implement than a market, so it should be step 1 towards this. And, it will help many people still. |

Unless I'm very much mistaken a CCP employee just extracted the pole from their clacker and world did not end with a flood of negativity.
Interesting lesson for all parts of CCP there to be honest.
Delivering games can be hard. That most people get.
Being treated like crap because "the man's" been telling employees to toe the party line - most people don't get that or see it as necessary. |
