This is mainly just a curiosity.
So, I haven't always had a booster running, and I've failed to hit the SP cap a number of times; I'm just curious where everyone stands with SP right now, especially with this new SP system that lets some of you farm day in and day out.
I'm currently at 1,998,647 SP
EDIT: For those who might not be aware, Passive SP can become bugged and no longer work.

3.7 mil ish....not pin point sure, at work. I do know I never missed a daily cap or weekly and running boosters, but when they went to weekly, they basically gave 200,000+ sp away that i missed due to work. |

By the time the game gets out of beta new players will just be getting smashed.
You'll need to buy an account just to compete. |

It won't take them long to catch up in capabilities if they focus a bit instead of trying to be able to do everything at once. |

It doesn't work like that in EVE. It won't work that way here.
There's a maximum SP that can apply to your current fit at any given moment, even if you somehow had infinite SP overall. The top players are getting close to hitting it. More and more will hit it over time.
Two or three months to hit the practical SP limit really isn't bad at all. |

I disagree.
I've ran with an alt that is fitted only with militia equipment and have done pretty well. I won't deny that SP makes a difference, but player skill matters a lot more.
Just like in EVE, if you specialize in one thing you can be just as good as a player with 50 Million SP. You just won't have as much SP invested into other specialties. |

2.3m. Started the day of open beta, didn't have any boosters the first few weeks and may have been shy of the cap once or twice.
I heard that closed beta players had a 2 week headstart on open beta. Explains the SP difference and how some ppl have 4m. |

1,9 mil - missed 10 days of passive gain, playing in average 2hrs, couple days per week, no boosters.
I am already about twice behind my mates that just play too much every day .
I really miss old weekly system where you had bigger SP gains in first games. |

We're it me I'd just create a second tier of each game mode. Ambush/Skirm Pub or something. Starter fits only. Then of course normal versions for those of us that want to use our gear. That's just me. Ultimately skill improvement trumps SP |
