Problem: These are a major factor in redlining teams. Not because of the turret itself but because of map bugs, design, and projectile impact spots on the turret.
Example:
Certain times in the 3 point map they turrets spawn and are indestructible. Swarm launchers make impact, do 0 Dmg
The city map with the turret on the roof of B. On this map the side that has D: turrets are placed behind or next to pipes that run out of the ground and absorb all swarm launcher fire making the turrets impossible to bring down and making them more of a game changer than they should be.
Solutions:
Make swarm launcher missle impact high up on the gun so they can be more easily destroyed by infantry.
Lets be honest, these are meant to be an annoyance not a game changer It is my believe that these installations on the maps listed above are a leading cause of ****** redline games. |

Which involves being spec'd into tanks. I love ppl that bring a stock tank up against my turret. I win 90 percent of the time.
I'm not complaining about being redlined. Most of the time I do the redlining. It's too easy to sit in a turret and crush anyone that gets close to the city which contains the majority of the control points. So in response to you point I respectfully disagree.. |

flow, just stop. turret hitboxes being underground is a long time known issue and it used to be much worse. simply saying, "I dont like turrets cause they kill me, make it so I can insta-kill them please" is not the right way to go about this.
if you have an issue with militia turrets, you're not going to like it when the enemy team calls a proto one in from orbit into a perfectly defensible location and your team gets ****** in the ass.
Thing about these ingame elements is everyone has access to them and everyone can die to them every once in a while. Use the tools given to kill others, dont break the tools so that others can't kill you. |

Please, you've never been in a turret against a tank. 3 shots and its dead. Turrets are nothing. |

As far as my experience goes; it is a bug with railgun turrets only. A long time ago, (and in a galaxy far far away I might add) they fixed a problem with swarms targeting the base of turrets. It seems that has returned. |

We are deviating against the point of this post which is the hit boxes on turrets. In a post above someone states that the problem has been brought to attention previously. That's all I was trying to do. |

It's only been the railguns with me. The Swarms all hit low, but they don't register on railguns for some reasons. Even remote explosives too. |

The real problem with turrets is that they are worth too many points for how easy they are to destroy. Assault forge gun is a good investment. |
