I don't see how anything he's saying is amusing. Suggesting that this crap is racist (in some ways moreso because he thinks it's funny) doesn't make me 'emotionally fragile.' It makes me an adult who's willing to call someone out when their behavior is anti-social, backwards, and wrong.

See, the problem with your thinking is that you believe that you have a right to bad behavior, and others who point out that your behavior is bad are somehow fragile or butthurt or overly sensitive. The reality is actually the opposite. Anyone over the age of 18 who has ever had to hold a job or interact with real humans knows better. The only reason you can defend your position is because you're anonymous, like your pal. If you had to actually suffer repercussions for your actions, you'd think twice.

The fact is that this community isn't and shouldn't be an old boys club catering to your sensibilities. Someday, the Imps are going to realize that if one person with your corp tags acts like an ***hat, it makes both of their corps look bad. It makes it even worse when you defend him instead of telling him to knock it off, since it makes it look like you agree with everything he's saying.

Reputation is important in New Eden. If people think your corp is run by troglodytes, they're not going to form alliances with you, they're not going to hire you, and they might even attack you just for your perceived idiocy. I realize that IMPswarm is just a feeder corp for the Imperfects, but bad IMPswarm behavior reflects poorly on the Imperfects.

You guys aren't Goonswarm Federation. You don't have the numbers or the power to get away with your people being complete *******s.

CCP bans people in game for forum abuse - thus we don't need to worry about it.

Things get miss-understood too easily on these forums - and on that ground I defend him, and none other. He's a good guy - promise. This thread - not so good. But I did get laughs so I gave him +1 for the effort ;) *He did tell everyone he just wanted this to be a joke thread with no hurt feelings, but he knew people would still take it this far and complain on these levels, read his OP.*

This is total bullshit, CCP locks my thread about a corp I made called "jewberg trade federation" (A at most G to PG rated humor that is the most family friendly clean humor on this side of the galaxy) trading eve isk for dust isk, and this goes on for 5 pages. CCP will ban him from using the forum, but that won't stop him from using in-game comms to do the same thing, and it won't do anything to mend the damage he's doing to your corp's image.

It's not so much the fact that he's going to be reprimanded, or the possibility that he already has been. It's the fact that he thought it was okay to act like this in the first place, and to be honest, it's not just him. Now, I do admit that there are some good people in the Imperfects and in IMPswarm. Kain Spero, for example, is both a skilled player and an intelligent poster. A lot of Imperfects and IMPswarm members, however, have quite a few members, Venom included, who seem to have little regard for what others think of them and their corp.

As for your assertion that this was intended to be a "joke", I do agree that it was clearly intended to be one. Your corp mate, however, has an extremely ****ed-up sense of humor.
