If we are so much in want off the focuse to be more a stratigy fps why not reduce the initiial clone counts and simply make cru's have a bit better stratigic value.
Simply make each cru have a set number of clones (not part of initial clone counts) and have it so wich ever team cotrols it has access to the clone count inside. So if team a used 5 out of 10 clones then you take it over you only have the 5 still in there. It should add some challeng to find a stratigy to take cru's while keeping them from depleteing it |

Well troops are the number 1 resource in combat.
Im not sure if it would work better if after depleation they should pull from the base clone reserve or go into self destruct sequince.... Otherwise they would be usless objectives(though thaat could have its own marits aswell)

Idea isn't without merit,
Once commanders can drop CRU's can we please lower the hitpoints on these things, too? Maybe a timed explodey hack like skirmish 1.0 had for objectives? |

Could help with gameplay and makes sense with the lore.
How does the game go about explaining how we magically appear outside the CRUs? I always thought it would be better if the CRU's were a bit bigger (like small bunkers) and when you spawned the first thing you see is your clone getting off the rack, and then you exit the doors to the battlefield. At least then you would get shot in the back right as you spawn. |

The idea sounds good but..
if the units have clones, and can be spawned, battles could be extended.

Hence reducing the start clone count...... Have it equal out to more or less equal out to curent clone count when inclueding both cru + mcc clone counts
