Start up Dust, many minutes later you're finally able to spawn on the battlefield of OMS Ambush.
Get killed as you spawn with 3 enemies behind you, the only 3 enemy players in the whole match.
Spawn again, die again only to be unable to load your equipment and having to restart the whole game again.
Many minutes later you're finally able to shoot things again, only to get booted out of the game every time you wish to spawn after you've died 1-2 times. Join another match, same problem.
Restart game again. Many minutes later (those minutes getting ever more tedious) you join a game that just ended. Join another game, get stuck on 'deploying to the battlefield', try to join another game just to find that you're now unable to restock your equipment after a few deaths (and no, you're not out of isk).
Restart, only to say **** it and ***** about it on the forums instead.
Fix your broken game, CCP. |

I had that kicked-from-the-match problem after trying out the Nova Knife glitch. I had to delete the loadout to get rid of it.
I've been fine ever since though. No problems except when squading with one guy. |

It is an OPEN beta. Says right when you log in, says so in the EULA you agree to everytime you log in. You need a better argument then slapping your hands to your ears and screaming NO I AM RIGHT YOU ARE WRONG LALALALALA
"A beta test is a limited release of a product with a goal of finding bugs before the final release. Software testing is often referred to by the terms "alpha" and "beta."
Generally speaking, the alpha test is an internal test to find bugs, and the beta test is an external test. During the alpha phase, the product is opened up to employees of the company and, sometimes, friends and family. During the beta phase, the product is opened up to a limited number of customers.
Sometimes, beta tests are referred to as "open" or "closed". A closed beta test has a limited number of spots open for testing, while an open beta has either an unlimited number of spots (i.e. anyone who wants to can participate) or a very large number of spots in cases where opening it up to everyone is impractical."

Ah but the major difference is that the bug I confirmed is likely to get corrected. |

The exaggeration is thick in this one. Sound more like a list of bugs IGÇÖve seen in open/closed beta combined. You seriously got this in 1 session. Please invite the dev to your house if bugs are that repeatable you will help them fix the issues in no time.
Just to add its a Beta TEST (highlighted the important part.

You could argue that the game is in alpha stage since it's not anywhere near feature complete.
The game is however released as far as consumers should be concerned. In order to have the best progress upon "release" you're forced to play the game NOW, not later. What was the last game beta you heard of where progress wasn't wiped? Not only that but people are PAYING for the beta.
So no, it's not a bloody beta, it's a rushed release. CCP hiding between a beta label doesn't make it any better. |

Actually all of these things happened today in around 1 hr of play (or, "play").
Also, nope, not a beta. |

I wish they would release some sort of test version of the game before releasing it as a completed product. That would allow them to fix issues such as these as well as allow interested people to help try it out and even contribute to the quality of the final product.
Also, I think it's a shame you have to pay tens of dollars/euros/whatevers just to be able to play the game. It would be so much cooler if you could play it for free and only had to pay for optional extra's that you don't really need.
If only.... |
