The game is getting hard to enjoy honestly. These suits are just way too powerful. They're out classing my constant assault rifle headshots at max range like whut. I wouldn't even care, but seeing as CCP is a rookie developer and for some reason put a killcount in an objective based mode...it's starting to get annoying. It's either kills or objectives, stop mixing the two and then putting some blatantly unkillable overpowered class in the game. I don't even care if they already confirmed nerfs were coming, this post is to tell them that I don't care about EVE incorporation if I can't even enjoy DUST |

What are you talking about? I run a LR on a logi suit and I can regularly kill heavies in CQ with a couple of well placed grenade's, not to mention that I cut them down at range. |

In fact, random smurfs also approach a HAV the same way they approach other suit.

Don't bother using an assault rifle on a heavy. Most of the time, his HMG or other weapon will tear you up quicker than you can to him. That's why I switched to using a shotgun as a main on my assault class.
If you plan on taking out heavies, grenades usually work due to the heavies having less mobility or take them out from afar. |

*sigh* Of course they are, they're supposed to be. At close range. The weakness of a heavy is when you put distance between them, where they're moderately short range HMG's can't even hit you. Otherwise, a heavy should always win a 1 vs. 1, or they're doing it wrong.
And if you want to get close for the kill, use a shotgun.
Seriously, it's a HEAVY. Don't they have vanguard classes or whatever from CoD or wherever you came from? They're meant to survive, and mow down enemies. They can't handle multiple units ganging up on them, surviving long enough for them to have to reload, or being too far away. After you implement my tactics, then I'm open to hear your complaints. |

I call BS. I decided to try the heavy suit again so fired one up. Even got the flux grenades and everything so I could have it super easy.
Played maybe 4 or 8 games of ambush. 10 kills 20 deaths. If the heavy was all that even I should be able to rock out with my **** out in a heavy suit.
But nope. Feel like there is poop in my pants and I am just a chubby target for duvolles. Heavy sucks and I actually have to give props to the players that stick with that load out and those fittings. I don't see how they can take it. Game after game chugging around even the tiny ambush maps like you have shoes full of sand. I guess it is just not my style.
Give me a scout any day of the weak. I'll get more kills with a militia shot gun on a throw away scout fitting during a suicide run to hack an objective or place a drop uplink than I will during an entire match in a fat suit. |

Well I agree that it is OP I should not be able to go 100-0 in a single Ambush match with Millitia gear and ZERO skills specd, I mean HELL you know is bad when I can out snipe Sniper wit a HMG |

I think heavies are fine, people just do not know how to kill them.
Grab a LR,MD, or a shotgun and get to work, if you are good you should be able to kill me.
I laugh at these people that try to fight me head on and just stand there, they don't even strafe. But the game has to be like cod where everyone is the same and it is just who shoots first. |

The snipers I kill, I jump in my LAV, run my heavy big *as up a mountain, and gun him down. I would love to snipe snipers though.

They appear OP because the majority of people haven't completely figured out how to fight them. When more people figure this out then the tide will turn until the next new supposedly-OP thing is discovered.
You know a bad heavy when you can do the dance with them while they empty out their clip. Then it's my turn, right in their head!

The trick to out sniping snipers is to use the MILLITIA only, and DO NOT spec any skills into HMG then hold fire till almost overheating and its SO ACCURATE you can kill snipers EASY MODE |

If you don't enjoy the game, don't play it. The fact of the matter is, that if you close in on a heavy, yes they will be able to wipe the floor with you if they are carrying an HMG. There are plenty of people who take down heavies without any problem. Learn how to adapt to the situation. Don't complain about it. Calling CCP a rookie developer is also kind of ignorant. They have been developing and polishing a game for going on ten years, there are quite a few developers out there that don't have near the experience as CCP. |
