What weapon does everyone think has the biggest learning curve? I'm talking about a weapon that is absolutely worthless in the hands of someone with no experience using it, but is extremely deadly after TONS of practice- and I don't mean after tons of SP.
I think it would be the breach mass driver. Low splash damage and splash radius, short range firing arc, and low RoF. You have to hit someone directly to do real damage.
However, when you DO hit someone directly, the damage is insane. |

Mass Driver in general has been hardest for me, but quite rewarding when you do it right.
I'd also like to give burst assault another try. Had a hard time with it. |

Perhaps the laser rifles, the damage over time mechanic isn't really easy to master. Mass drivers are basically grenade launchers, but they're quite difficult to learn aswell. |

LR's aren't that hard really, the main difficulty is making sure you keep people in your optimum range. I still can't get the hang of the MD though, so I would say the MD |

Every weapon is straight forward but if these were put in every noob's hands there would be dozens more "buff nova knives" threads.
Btw I put a scrambler in the hands of two people who are bad and decent at fpses and they both got decent numbers mainly using it. |

I've used everyweapon or at least tried them for last year and the ones i hate are the Scrambler pistol, LR, MD.
I mean i sucked "donkey farts" (fit in a name drop) B@lls with these and to the day i use Smg b4 a pistol and or no sidearm. LOL
+1 on Sleepy's comment 2 i tried Nano knife's on an alt 2 build ago and thought they sucked. But was better as scout with speed mods, and knives skilled up, then a shotty IMO.. Was perty deadly then, now i think they suck or at least ive herd they do.   |

I actually killed an HMG heavy at close range with my SMG, without getting the jump on him. I was literally laughing like crazy, I stomped those guys bad >_< |

I would say the breach shottys. You have two shots to do your business and if you can get that cat to meow, the breach can def bring the fancy feast. |

You should've tried them last build- I use to use a scrambler as my logi's only weapon. Even had sidearm sharpshooter proficiency somethinorother. |

I was playing with a SMG before, but since it's minmatar junk I changed to my beautiful gold plated amarrian pistol. I must say it's hard to use, but when you get used to it it's an awesome weapon .... |

Hope you all noticed the pistol was totally changed this build. It used to be a long range weapon. This build they totally changed it to a short range smg variant.
I agree this weapon is rough to be effective with but those few players who are...are deadly.
The LR is rough to because of always keeping your enemies in the "damage zone".
Good lasers are always feared. Mainly because elite players can die quick if the situation is right. |

The sniper rifle is useless unless sleepy is holding it. The sniper rifle has a very high skill cieling imo. |

Not to mention all the snipers trying to shoot from the MCC means that blueberries don't normally hit reds often enough from the ground to notice that all of their shots aren't leaving the MCC. |

Sniper rifle has a very low skill ceiling. You put the dot over the target and pull the trigger. The rest is fairly basic and can be summarized as "don't get shot by other snipers".
Sleepy Zan is one of the few people who run around with a sniper rifle rather than camp with one, so he's somewhat distinct from the legions of hill snipers (or at least distinct on these forums), but that doesn't mean he's being a more effective sniper as a result. Lot's of snipers kill lot's of people per game, and perhaps contribute more to their team than Sleepy Zan or whoever else does. |
