I will put this debate to rest by stating that Nova Knives are the one set of weapons that have the steepest learning curve. I know from experience.

Note: CCP stated they are planning on allowing nova knife users to sprint with the charge still on. In the meantime, you can do that now via a melee glitch which basically you immediately start and hold the charge while in the process of meleeing. It will stay charged no matter how many times you sprint and stop until you release it. This made me extremely aggressive. It allowed me to see how practical the knife can truly be if sprinting while charging was allowed. |

And I run around more lately, now that I play infantry mostly and only snipe usually to kill hill snipers.
You aren't still wearing that clownsuit as a hill sniper I hope. |

I'm not going to skill into assault for awhile, and I have my suit set up so it can take as many hits as a lower tier assault suit in almost all sniping situations. |

I agree, although I still think weaponizing dropships is more challenging (getting lots of crushes/run running people over) |

You're a madman, Sleepy Zan. I am going to shoot you with all kinds of guns if I see you up there in a scout suit. |

I would like to state that a noob with a breach MD with max skills and the best gear would get killed by a noob with nova knives, max skills, and the best gear.
By best gear, I ofc mean what is considered best for the playstyle. |

never tried nova knives, but I'd think they'd be difficult. almost positive they take the cake. I await the "nerf heavys using NK's" thread.
MD's have a bit of a curve, but are always effective.
my original thought (didn't think about NK) was the FG. FG's are fun, but MLT is slower than molasses, so if you miss, it's either swap to side, or give up, lol. |

Going to go with laser rifle. After years of CS I'm pretty native with all guns, but damn it's hard when you can't burst fire and hide efficiently.
All weapons have pretty much unlimited skill cap. Scrambler pistols require headshots, then again all guns work nice if you hit the head.
So, hardest to get decent = laser, Second hardest scrambler pistol.
Sniper rifles just require a proper setup to ease the whack-a-mole and to differentiate the head pixel. Without a 27" monitor and razer mouse desktop setup, I would prolly hit nothing. |
