 ERMAHGERD!!! I can't wait for next build/expansion whatever you wanna call it. I friggin love this game, bin playing since the E3 build and it's just gotten better and better IMO. I really don't understand the whole racial thing (appears to make no difference plus you can put your SP into another race's gear) but I've been playing along with it anyways getting exclusively Caldari vehicles. |

Mainly to provide variety. One races dropsuits will differ in capabilities from another. usually following some sort of common design trend for the race. Say for example maybe the Gallente suits will focus more on shields then the others. You can then train to the race that fits your playstyle.

Amarrians are a bit rightous and empowered by god, so slow moving heavily armored and burns everything in their way.
Minmatar are fleeting bits of hope and fury. Thus high speed and ferocious amounts of firepower and flexbility
Caldari are discplined, strict, and highest standards. So very technological, heavily shielded but little variety outside the high tech methoods.
When racial suits get filled out you will start to see a theme in the bonuses. |

Not if you've deployed a emp installation. And the map mode has team A needs to make it to the engine warp core and cause it ri breach.
Team B on the other hand want to blow all 3 emp towers inside the ship. Once all 3 are destroyed the ship floods the ship with coolant. Also auto drones could spawn for the defending team the ships automated defence system. Maybe even have turrets theattacking team has to clear to get to the next area. |

Ok that's cool, I get it. But what about the race and bloodline we chose at the very beginning, does that affect anything (or is it planned to affect anything?) or just for fun to give your character a background? |

Just background. It may also dictate your stating skills, but you can very easily cross train to other races. Same as in EVE Online.
