Sounds like active boosters may not be needed after 1-2 days?
Or will the maxium be 1500 SP with boosters? Not real clear in the post. |

I hope not. Honestly thats too much. Sp gain after 3.5 milli is irrelevent. 500Sp per match is the best imho. Otherwise the game is over in 1.5-2.5 months. |

Dear players,
Thank you for voting on the following options on the Skill Point system. We carefully followed the discussion and the voting process, and in the upcoming days we will be deploying the following system to the server:
Weekly skill point cap of 190.400 SP (without boosters) from fighting in battles Players who have maxed out their cap will receive 1 SP per warpoint up to a limit of 1.000 SP per each battle
We chose to go with Option #2 (limiting skill points earned to a maximum of 1.000 SP per battle after the cap has been hit) as it was both the safer and the most popular option among the players. We will monitor the situation after the changes are live and look forward to receiving feedback from you. Once again, we would like to remind you that weekly skill point rollover system is being worked on and that this is just the temporary solution that we are implementing.
Thank you once again for your participation and feedback!
We will see you on the battlefield.

It would have to be right? Or why would anyone invest in active boosters past the first couple of days. |

Weekly skill point cap (without boosters) doesn't tell us ANYTHING about the post-cap limit and whether that's affected by boosters or not. |

The .5x sp you get doesn't count towards your cap. By having a booster you don't reach your cap faster. So bythe time you hit your weekly cap of 190,400 sp you will have gained 270,600 sp. After that, any match you score over 1k wp you will get 1500 sp. |

Just my take on what's been said, and until we get concrete clarification from a dev/gm either of us could be right.
It sounds like instead of a daily cap of 27,200sp earned through games, we now have a weekly cap earned through games of 27,200sp * 7= 190,400sp a week Without boosters
that weekly sp cap that can be earned through games is increased by the booster to 40,200sp a day * 7 = 281,400sp a week.
So in a given week you can earn a total of 190,400sp without boost (281,400sp with boost)
Once you reach the maximum amount of sp in a given week you than fall under the sp cap in which you can earn a maximum but not more than 1000sp a game.
so those with an sp boost will reach the per game cap of 1000sp that much easier and quicker, but nobody will get more than a 1000sp a game once they have reached there sp cap.
This is just my take on it and I'm happy what ever turns out to be correct. |

You forget why we play video games. Dopamine. Reward systems in games increase the amount of dopamine we get. But when the reward system is tortuous like the 50sp cap, it turns the dopamine reward system into an addiction system with withdrawal effects aka cortisol. |

SP wont matter as much once ppl get comfortable and ppl not looking at the bigger picture territorial conquest, LP so we can spend on faction gear. the good thing about LP is that u have to spend it to purchase faction gear which will then be lost if destroyed thus having u hav to grind back more LP.....tbh LP is the best grind u can get as it will keep ppl coming back to grind more LP for more faction gear to then use in battle
that and some form of territorial conquest in FW would keep alot of corps hooked.
there will be alot of other things that arent currently in the beta to distract ppl from the SP addiction. |

yes it will be 1500 SP per match with a booster simply cause before we had a cap of 50SP and it changed up to 75SP with a booster which is a increase of 50%. |

That's why 1 sp = 25% wp is a better option. Because if you earn 2000 wps, then you only get 500 sps. The returns are small but you do feel like you're doing something when you pla and making each wp count. |

I tend to think that it will be similar to 50 --> 75 1,000 --> 1,500
(also, why did Frame say 1.000 for one thousand? That just looks like one point zero zero zero to me. How do they use decimal places?) |
