Last time I checked, ppl played games for fun, not to QQ about the game being too fair for ppl with a little less skill.

when you max out all skills and stop gaining sp will you be done with the game?

This is not a question of fun, this is not a question of how much SP I get per game. If i got 1 billion or 10 per match, i don't care, but i want it to be consistent and i don't want my ability to be 'capped' so my SP gain is no higher than an average player.

You DO realize that this is a TEMP fix, right? Once the rollover system is ready, there will be no more SP=WP of any kind. People who are ready to call the SP system unfair to hardcore gamers over a temp fix that benefits EVERYONE and ISN'T EVEN IN PLACE YET will be flooding the earth with their salty tears of indignation when WP=/=SP in any way. xDD

This game is MEANT to have limits in place. This SP boost is a temporary boon, nothing more.

1000sp instead of 50sp sounds good to me.

How am I having fun if I know every WP i get over 1,000 is useless? what's my incentive to revive teammates for those few extra SP? What's my incentive to repair ****? to hack objectives? to win a random pub objective game? You'll have to excuse me if that doesn't motivate me very much.

last time i checked, i got paid for EVERY hour of service I put into my job, they don't cap it at 1,000 dollars.

How is anything i've said difficult to grasp? My argument may seem different because people keep attacking and nit-picking things i'm not even trying to imply, or they automatically dismiss me as some kind of irate crybaby, which is certainly not the case either.

i have re-stated what my argument is multiple times:

the low 1000 SP cap snubs hardcore players into being bottlenecked in with average players no matter how good you are and also allows CCP to take more of your money for boosters because it will take you longer to reach your desired goal/spec. this is a very obvious, blatant fact, and quite frankly i'm shocked anyone can even attempt to argue against something so OBVIOUS.

I can understand the general community wanting to level the playing field with a 1,000 SP cap, but as a hardcore player of every game I participate in, I'm really, really sick of getting snubbed so casual players can be on the same tier of skills and gear as I am (not that it will matter in terms of me killing them because MUH FPS SKILLS, but it's the principal behind it.)

if we can't have a civil discussion about something as simple as this without people rolling in telling me to outright quit because i don't agree with the SP cap, I legitimately fear for the longevity of this community.
