newberry myself and while I have had matches with some of the same frustrations, i cant help but feel that coming to the forums to vent isn't the best way to improve the situation, it just opens up a divide between the new players and those of the closed beta.

Instead of venting your frustration might it not be better to try and take just one of these newberries under your wing for the night, especially if they have a mic. and educate them in the finer points of combat.

I realise that its a lot to ask as this is your rl downtime and having to spend your time training a new player isn't the hight of fun but if you can help just 1 newberry, welcome him into the community and get him interested enough in the game to do his own research, and he does the same to another newberrie and so on, wouldn't that be the best gaming community ever?

And it all comes down to the choice we make here and now, do you moan and rant and vent, or do we welcome, educate and train. Right now we are setting the tone of the community for years to come, and that's why I'm asking you to be the very best people you can be.

So go on, take a newberry under your wing, share you knowledge and train them. Be the very best this community has to offer.

TDLR version

Me and 2 mates spent all game sniping and picking people off running from point to point, despite out LEET newberry killing skill (which will degenerate from now on as the newberries learn the importance of cover).

OMG all our pwn skills and we lost how is that. Please kill capture point games so us KDR types can pwn and win!

Clearly, some idiots didnt really read his post. His trio wasnt trying tojust pad some kills, they were doing everything they could to win, killing, hacking, defending hacks, etc.

Its just that the stupidity and uselessness of the the blues could not be overcome.

how is it that a team can redline our team when our team had between three people 94 kills on 30 deaths?

"allright guys im unhacking alpha cover me." (gets to last bar and a reddot strolls in right through the three newberries and kills the un-hacker)
"allright guys good job taking charlie just kill that one reddot and we can push them back to bravo" (newberries walk past reddot and start hacking a turret with no armor left)
" i just cleared out alpha i need someone to cover me while i hack" (newberries sit there while 5 reddot's spawn in and kill the hacker, and then proceed to get killed by the reddots as they didnt bother to start shooting until they were being fired upon."

the top three players for the losing side went

36-10 me
18-8 vd7

plus the winning side lost 2 tanks 1 of which was a gunloggi and 9 lavs to this team of three
none of the team of 3 were using anything higher than an adv ar and were using either std or militia gear for everything else.

the rest of the losing side got 30 kills total and around 110 deaths

the match was amazing and we had a blast because of the challenge YOUR NAME HERE's LR caused some annoyance during that match i believe but nothing we couldn't handle.

so as a message to all newberries red=bad, letter blinking= hack, red box with blue filling= good, blue box with red filoing= bad

94 kills... wait how many clones are there in skirmish?

Skirmish has 150 clones per side
