I'm hoping its semi-auto, high damage, slow firing, and really accurate. I really would enjoy something like that, but if it behaves totally surprising in an awesome way, then that's good too.

Looks caldari for sure perhaps some sort of gauss rifle fairly long barrel but not long enough to be a sniper rifle so iam going to guess caldari answer to the blaster assault rifle, i think that cylinder object in the middle-ish the might be part of the firing mechanism (a magnet?) the piece in front of the handle looks unnecessarily large perhaps thats the ammo magazine

Each race will have something in the ar role, it may not be an ar. The scrambler and gauss rifles may be the amarr and caldari equivalent.

It's also plausible that the Laser Rifle is already the Amarr equivalent for an AR, and the Scrambler will be their Sniper Rifle equivalent.

I would not be happy about that, I'm hoping that the laser is the sniper, and that the scrambler is the AR. I want an AR as pew pew scifi stylish as the scrambler pistol. Lasers are too situational to be the AR variant IMO.
