You realise that the art posted is just concept art? It isn't the actual model and is likely to have skins placed on it and things adjusted. |

I don't see how your comment is relevant to what he said. He never said it was the final model, but it is clearly Caldari by the aesthetic chosen. Also, from the concept art we seen so far from weapons we already have, the art and the actual models are pretty much identical. |

This is what I've been wanting since Closed Beta! Something with more power then the Tactical AR, but shoots faster then the Sniper Rifle. Either that or a Caldari Shotgun. Either way, their giving the Caldari an Non-Specialized weapon! |

Its a Gauss rifle.
Gauss Rifles work by maintaining a permanent magnetic field and are then fed ammo into it.
This usually results in a widely inaccurate but extremely rapid firing weapon.
In other words this thing probably shots a heck of a lot faster than the plasma AR. |
