So ive got no SP into it, at all. Im using a militia logi with an exile and militia BPOs. Im just wondering how much better is it with just one point invested? Im wondering this because, if im slaughtering people in standard suits, from a militia fit, why bother specing into Assault Rifles at all? |

AR operation skill gives you tighter grouping, handles recoil better. It is subtle but useful. |

At lvl 5 you can advance even further into assault rifle profiency wich gives you another +2% (or +3%, cant remember) extra dmg per lvl |

if you get lvl 2 range for the ARs they become more useful. cant imagine when i level up everything to 5. |

there is no real reason I could use GEKs on my alt but he does no better than when he uses standard AR. CCP neckbeards must have been killed by ARs a lot (not hard that last few build 80% used them) because they nerf down any need to use better guns.
The actual AR skill and prof are both worth getting along with the sharpshooter ones. |

the gaps between default AR's may not be significant on paper, but when you factor in the damage bonus' from skills the gaps grow, even if just a little. Due to the stacking percentages, it can add up quickly. Its the same in EVE. A fit in EVE becomes almost exponentially better when you train skills to increase damage or fire rate, etc.... |
