This is an FPS, we are not EVE scrubs, we want balance, we want to be able to fight veterans with proto gear if we have militia simply because we can catch up to their SP with hard work, SKILL, and determination. YOU are creating a game that YOU want to live for what was it? 7 years? but you design it to be a one to three year game! this is out of hand CCP. You're ideas are so contradictive I do not even know what to say about them other than LISTEN TO US! Why anyone would spend money on Tryhard514 in the first place is lolz to me. Terrible game that requires no skill. Proto gear against randomz in militia gear over hours yo. Yo! If you be hating on this game so much why you still here playing with your bothers? yo.

Not feel like you have to quit your job to keep up with no lifers to not get gunned down in the blink of an eye.
I think the meta will attract people - but the functionality of the PvP and how it interacts with every aspect of the game will keep them staying for more. |

That's actually a really good post but the thing is people are overlooking that you don't need any more than 3-4m SP to be "at your best",
Once you have the right skills for your spec, anything above that is a bonus and don't really change the game or make you better at it, it just gives you more options on what you can do in a particular situation. Honestly, people who are complaining about SP are the ones who have been trying SO HARD to keep up with everyone else, if they took a break like many of us have they'll see it's made no difference to their game.
They can cry and claim Corp fights as much as they want but there's nothing in this game that can't be fixed by throwing several million ISK at it.

If the PvP does not impress, they will immediately quit playing and delete the game off their hard drive before they ever get a chance to try out other features of this game. They payed nothing for the game and have no incentive to continue playing if the game doesn't give a good first impression. The PvP has to be good. It has to feel familiar to people transitioning from other games and has to be newbie friendly. This strict SP cap is not newb friendly. Not totally true, a lot of people play EVE just because they are mouth breathing pubbies who think mining is fun and that's never been suggested as a play point for EVE.
Nobody is downloading this game to mine space rocks. |

Then you clearly don't spend enough time in Hisec.
I've flown with the Ministry of Love and there's a huge number of people who mine rocks to build things to sell because those minerals they mine "are free" even though it would be faster and more profitable to buy them. |

Skill>SP
But all these mental cases who think SP=skill are the players who suck at the game to begin with. They need to justify why they do not do well in the game. It's so pathetic.
And they are the ones who still insist that SP=skill when everything has been flatten. I thought the world was a smarter place, that also had common sence. But I'm sadly mistaken as they are just so many stupid people with absolutely no common sence. It shouldn't even be called common sence as only a very few have it. |

Agreed to both posts, BUT, you have 3 characters to play with everyday. Specialise each one. Once you hit the 50 SP cap with one switch to the other. This helps keep the game fresh. Only issue I have with the current build is having to reload if you want to switch characters. If in game switching becomes a reality then what is there to complain about really?

That's going to be a massive ******* flamewar when that gets touched on, just wait for AWOXING to make it's appearence in Dust or even just basic scamming of corp assets. |

That's 9 hours of gameplay per day, i have a family. I'll be lucky if i get 3 hours in dust per WEEK but you don't hear me bitching that everyone else will have huge advantages over me with SP because i know it's not important. |

Hello,
We further clarified the change to the system right here. Thank you for your feedback so far. We are definitely considering tuning this system further as this is not the carved-in-stone version. |
