Ummm, you can remap in EvE, yes? If it is so in EvE should it not be so in DUST? Consequences should be "PAY AN ICLANDER!" |

Remaps in eve involve altering your attributes to determine which skills in training generate SP the fastest. there is no SP refund in eve for anything.
CCP has refused to allow this even though exchanging a plex for 3-5 million SP reset would mean a lot of revenue.
If they wont do it for EVE, which you must pay 15bux a month for, you likely wont see SP refunds in their free to play game |

^^exactly^^
this is why we play the beta... to make the mistakes now and learn from them. As for the day 1 xmas noob... make a friend, knit some socks, do some research before using your SP
embrace the reset when it arrives and know what you're doing by then :) |

Eve and Dust are different games. Dust isn't a spin-off edition of Eve, it's a different genre set in the same universe, we can't just apply the same rules to both and expect them to be valid.
The option to respec would be easily abused in Eve. The same cannot be said of Dust. Asking for an aurum respec item is a perfectly valid request. |

You know what, I knew that, but forgot that I knew that, and forgot that I'd forgotten that I knew that once or twice before.
So here's an interesting question. Since there are no attributes to manipulate like in EvE, then maybe switching between Enforcer, Articifer, Arbiter, or Sentinel....ehhhhhhh, now that I'm thinking about it, may not be a good deal. NVM |

Considering it's like EVE and there no set classes or professions. Then no that idea won't work. |

I dont have time to play for two years to buy a ship, just to get my ass handed to me by some some worm hole gate pirates. This is a shooting game, fast paced, outer spaced, multi raced , orbital stricking goodness. Your ship = my dropsuit. You lose a ship, you mkight cry, I lose a good dropsuit I might cry. But in the merc world. I may need to change my skills to suit something and fight in different situations to protect my homeland. Respec has been a part of shooters for a while and this game doesnt need to be an exception. |
