As for the day 1 xmas noob... make a friend, knit some socks, do some research before using your SP embrace the reset when it arrives and know what you're doing by then :)

Eve and Dust are different games. Dust isn't a spin-off edition of Eve, it's a different genre set in the same universe, we can't just apply the same rules to both and expect them to be valid. The option to respec would be easily abused in Eve. The same cannot be said of Dust. Asking for an aurum respec item is a perfectly valid request.

NVM Considering it's like EVE and there no set classes or professions. Then no that idea won't work.

But in the merc world. I may need to change my skills to suit something and fight in different situations to protect my homeland. Respec has been a part of shooters for a while and this game doesnt need to be an exception.
