Our passengers will be able to shoot their weapons. Notice the sniper on the right.

New RDV flying in the upper left. Perhaps for the Heavy Aircraft? Who knows. It looks like the one from the intro, seen dropping off HAVs, so perhaps it is the Heavy RDV. As seen here close up http://www.dust514.com/media/screenshots/eve-fanfest-2012-1/
http://www.dust514.com/media/concept-art/environment-01/ Fighter Jets were already confirmed, and if you looked at this one before they were confirmed, then you already knew. We can see by this art how the fighters will look when they are killing you.
Just a few breakdowns of the little things I noticed in these photos. Really not very important, but knowing is better than not. |

Gallente RDVs, All races will be eventually having their own RDV for now we're using caldari Bolas.
Passenger Firing was posted by devs as something they wanted to do but cant at the moment due to other things. Mark this as a Dev Wishlist feature.
Fighters will NOT be making it for launch. They're post launch vehicle similar to the MAVs, ATACs and Gunships and various hundreds of other things listed as 'soon(tm)' |

There is this video on youtube where CCP plays very early version of DUST in Fanfest and it had pretty lenghty seguence of flying with fighter. (Dont remember year.)
But that, if I recall correctly, was when DUST did run under CARBON technology and not UT3 |

1) looks like a machine gun/blaster.
2) thats Caldari made for you

Except what is the siege mode that a siege module enables? Also notice that the recon prometheus has no turret compared to other pictures. Also, we are getting fog of war!

Back on topic, notice if you will that ships will have capacitor levels and weapons, so activating too many modules could drain our capacitors. |

Siege mode in the Eve Online context enables a vehicle/ship to focus all of its power and resources to dishing out maximum damage in a very short about of time. However, vehicles/ships that are in siege mode are forced to sit absolutely still for a set amount of time (in Eve's case that's 10 minutes) until the module completes its cycle. This leaves the vehicle/ship completely vulnerable to attack which is why this is not something anyone should use without some kind of support to keep it alive. |

because they picked gallente to showcase the recon suit. eventually all classes of dropsuit will be represented by each race type
gallente: heavy armor but more focused on short ranged firepower rage like blasters and faster than amarr.
caldari are shieldheavy and focus on traditional engage at range and kill them before they can get into engagement range. hence things like forge guns. caldari are also missile happy lunatics.
Minmatar use both shields, armor and heavy firepower but the caldari ar better at shields, the amarr at armor and the gallente at firepower. minmatar tend to be the fastest and most versatile. you can fit minmatar for almost any situation or ******** speed.
amar take the phrase go big or go home literally. their tanks are beast but the laser weaponry tends to be more situational. theyre aso slow as hell. |

The generalities I presented were for a race as a whole as seen in EVE. You're comparing different classes of drop suits. As Breakin Stuff said, you're seeing the Gallente Scout now but when the Minmatar Scout shows up it'll likely be noticeably faster and probably have an even lighter tanker.
DUST has some oddities when compared to traditional EVE technologies as well. I think part of it stems from CCP only giving us a handful of equipment to work with and partly from trying to simplify the fitting compared to the ships. |

My point that they're drones stands though. no pilot with a microgram of sense would try to drop a vehicle in one of our shoot at anything that moves warzones. any sane pilot would dust off and tell you to go to hell. no tank for you.
so it has to be drones. |

The Forge gun charge up spool is now on a rotation around the ammo counter.
In all pictures, the HUD shows the same health, and it's definitely not Heavy health. So it's either a Dev Hack or the medium frame suits at least will be able to carry heavy weapons, but many are aware of this rumor already.
