In my case if theres another wipe then its time to play more Borderlands 2/Resident Evil 6/Tales of Graces/Dark Souls/White Knight Chronicles 2/Dead Island GOTY/Dead Island 2/Underworld/New Vegas....etc and far LESS Dust 514 to the point of once per week or month??
I think a wipe for no reason is a very bad idea as it will turn my Dust 514 play time into game over man, game over!!

Yes a wipe would be good getting back all yhe stuff thats been used and starting every one off at zero again so they can test everything is good. |

Yes with a good amount of SP to start with, we can't test the new weapons if our current ones are maxed out they need to level up the playing field . |

I'm ok with a isk and equipment wipe, but my understanding is that CCP may be allowing us to keep the SP, but just let us reallocate the SP totals each of us have in new ways so as to allow us the opportunity to test as much of the gear out as possible.
Either way, this thread is more likely to not influence CCP's end decision in what they will do when the new build doe finally come out. PLus I thought there would be another complete wipe unit we transfer over to Tranquility upon release. |

On a side note I think CCP is going to be very reluctant to wipe again before release, because then they have to give everybody all their Aurum back. Right now people are still buying Aurum as they run out, when they wipe and return it everybody will get enough AUR back to play for months without paying another dime to CCP. I don't think they want to see that revenue stream dry up just yet. |

There will be a server wipe when we move to tranquility and the Exile rifle will be reimbursed after that ... but that doesn't mean there will be a wipe for the next build ... just that IF there is, the rifle will remain ... and that's if we get it before the build release anyway, there's no guarantee of that.
As for wanting a wipe next build ... No ... there's not enough proto level gear being used to get data on its balance and more items and skills introduced with the build will get tested more quickly if people aren't having to skill up suits and armor and shields again.
I'm not entirely against the idea of clearing trained skills and retaining current total sp levels to spend again ... but ONLY while we're in beta stage for testing purposes. Personally I've spent all my points wisely as I've had the benefit of many builds to get a feel for it, perhaps a new build could give newer testers the opportunity to try a different direction without losing the hard earnt points now that we have the sp cap. |
