I die in one direct hit from forge guns and rail guns. They can't even be hurt by forge guns or rail guns.
They can take multiple hits from NULL cannons. I bet if I got hit by a Null Cannon I wouldn't be left alive.
They have so much shielding and armor as to tank sustained NULL cannon fire. Once the noobs stop leaving them floating in the same spot all match, they'll be crazy OP.
I mean it takes NO skill. In every Skirmish I've ever been in. There is always ONE guy on both teams who has an MCC fitted with a CRU, no doubt kicking back and enjoying all the WP received for the spawn-ins they get.
I think a nerf is in order. Any suggestions? |

I'm not sure about this. You want your MCC to last for a while. The longer it's around the greater a chance you have to try and re-hack the NULL cannons to win the match. If the ships armor and shields were reduced, you'd have less time to save yourself. Skirmish is all about a long struggle, a back and forth battle to the bitter end. You need time to try and win, and the MCC will give you some time. |

I bet that if I managed to fly a dropship up to the level of the crossfire between MCCs, the dropship would be OHKed.

I borrowed the sagaris that some other guy called in and fired at the MCC with the railgun until the HAV got destroyed- didn't even damage the MCC. Waaaaay too overpowered. |

That is something I thought of, but once the...lesser skilled players figure out that keeping it in the same place, even behind the red-line, is not the best course of action, they will begin to last MANY games.
Perhaps it would be best to wait for this to happen to propose balance changes? |

We could, but it might be a good idea to propose a multiple player requirement for it. Perhaps one commander, one pilot and a couple gunners to start. |

I just thought of a problem. Once they learn to fly an MCC, what is stopping them from just ramming the enemy MCC?
Should their MMC do damage? Automatically blow up and lose them the game? Do absolutely nothing but bump them around?
This may be more problematic than I had feared. |

MCCs are supposed to be able to take fire from much larger things such as Frigates and Destroyers and possibly even battleships as well. Its estimated size is that of a cruiser. |

The MCC is slow, so It probably just bump slightly into each other. |

We could just limit their movement to the walking speed of a heavy dropsuit. That way infantry could avoid them and it would be difficult to ram one with another. |

I know it's unfair to the people who spec into MCC's, but we do need to maintain some semblance of balance.
MCC should probably be a 300x skill too. |

Hmmmm...ok, but would it be your average 5lvl skill? If so, would that require that there be different variations of MCC? It's only a beta, so maybe CCPs got some up their sleeves. |

There could be the usual levels and racial variants (I would really like to see what the Minmitar MCC looks like), but I'm against having a militia version. It should require skill to operate. |

MCC should probably be a 300x skill too. On a non-trolling note, I think MCC commanders will actually be fairly rare, and numbers of them won't be a problem in huge areas. |
