I want minimum 32vs32 (even if I know it would be 24vs24 someday), but they need to work a lot to stabilise a maximum their servers...
I just hope it won't be 16vs16 until the final release of the game. |

fix lag and disconnects then worry about larger battles. I have been disconnected trying to restock ingame 2 times. then there was a 3 dc streak i was on got to last 2 min doing ba then dc i still got my stuff though. i think? ccp work on more important stuff first then we can get to 300vs300 |

I want large scales battles too. 24v24 is cool but 32v32 or more would be better.
But you do make a good point. Although, it may even out because the gameplay is fit for it. I could die more when the server isn't full than when it is full |

That kind of marketing rings hollow to be honest. If you buy tickets to the biggest New Years party in town only to find out that it's actually spread across a dozen venues and there are other parties that hold more people you start to wonder what makes your party so 'massive'.
Our interaction with EVE is 'Black Box' interaction. We never see them, they never see us. They transfer money to us, we send coordinates to tgem. While EVE is a fully qualified MMO with a persistent universe in which the players can move freely and operate the metagame(mining, crafting etc), the MMO element of Dust appears as though it will be much more restricted.
TL;DR - Yes we need more players with smooth gameplay. 24 vs 24 at an absolute minimum. I came for battles, not skirmishes. |

The more players in each team the better. And how about increasing the squad sizes again. I havent played for a while due to the impending wipe before release. It makes it no point to play, but hey, I will give this Saturday game a go. Just for the suits I suppose. |

MAG numbers, or Goml. We can accept 24v24 as a temp thing. But we need MAG numbers, or the game is instantly not as good as a 3 year old game... Numbers matter. |

the market should react to the increase in buying by mercs with price drops (or something).
lag - yes lets hope they fix it, but it shouldnt be a disclaimer.
but otherwise. MAG numbers (or more) are needed. As said above, this was achieved three years ago. 128 v128 never felt chaotic.

With all the "is this a mmofps" threads , myself and a lot of others want player counts to increase im thinking. In that thread i even mention that it was a major argument in the BF3 beta that EA didn't listen to and lost to a game that had 2 year old engine . |

They would absolutely have to create a separate game mode and map for the larger battles but it should be done. We are talking planetary conquests here. Huge number of planets to choose from.....
Hey, according to corporation management....we can have 1300 players in a corp....we should be able to deploy into a mode with huge numbers if we can fit.
If they need time...that's fine but 64v64 or higher should be on its way. Especially when PS4 comes out. |

It's actually FIVE ONE FOUR and not Five hundred and fourteen.
There is some lore out there hinting at the meaning of 5 1 4.

Who ever dug it out , keep it going because this is a big concern in other forums. All you have to do is type in Google. Is Dust514 a MMOFPS and there is about 3 threads with this argument.
Also there is no excuse for lag in a 12 vs 12 game in 2013. To not want more players for fear of dieing is ludicrous at best. Dieing and MMOFPS go hand in hand, not dieing in a game ever is a RPG concept not a FPS.Either the stat crazy gear+Skill system is making player tracking a nightmare or they have no clue how to do it. Ive been in the beta 2 months shy of a half a year and we still dont spawn right in a game that is been developed since 2009.Please CCP turn on the coffee pot and put the midnight oil in the lamps because the MMOFPS side of this game is very behind. You probable nailed the RPG part in spades though i wouldnt be able to tell you because im not a RPG fan. |

Where did you see that ?
The only thing that has been confirmed is that the largest battles at launch will be 24 vs 24. Out of the mouth of David Reid last November.
But i tend to agree with everyone there. The more the merrier... Especially for corp battles ! |

The most I think we're going to see in the Beta is 32 vs 32, enough for the maps we have now. On full release we'll probably get 64 vs 64, if we're lucky 128 vs 128. Anything over that is a bit unrealistic. |
