Atm im a HAV driver and i did use the small turrets for my team but sometimes i may need a little extra PG/CPU and i may have to use a diff mod but i really dont want to because it will screw up my fit
Now in EVE we can leave turret slots empty but in DUST we cannot and still have the basic milita turrets on
Why?
TBH we should be able to remove all turrets from all vehicles if we wish to do so |

Agreed I want to remove turrets from my LAV to make its repair mods better my madrugar does better with turrets on it though. |

I'd like to see this for dropships also. Having 1 gun would make me a little tankier and prevent some bluedot from using my own gun to shoot my ship making stable flight impossible. |

Love the idea. Would also like that 'removed' gun to remain a seat however. Or have it simply replaced by a 'seat' wehn removed. |

I support the ability config vehicles without turrets. My only concern is that by forcing a vehicle to have turrets they limit the ability (see balance) for tanks to OP themselves with buff/rep/damage etc.
This being beta though I say give them a chance and lets see how it plays out |

lolno tanks are weak if i could knock of them useless small turrets to make my survival rate a little bit better i would
This should be an option and it would freely allow different options to all vehicle drivers |

GG. This is a brilliant point tbh. Most pubs don't jump in your tank anyway, and when they do, they like to spam my own tank with missiles. Nubs. It would savour our CPU and PG, and allow our tanks to have more of a mobile CRU function. |

+1 my Logi LAV has a huge Damage debuff making the turret worthless to me. I buy Rail guns just because they take less PG/CPU. |

Would be nice to see removal of the small turrets, with a removal of the seat that way patethic blueberries cant jump into someones tank and spam my missile turret like a noob when I dont move from behind cover because I dont want to die? PERHAPS IF YOU USE YOUR BRAIN you will see that a baloch! just blew up from a swarm and a forge gunner is sitting in my LOS.
Jeeze nerve of some people, also if you remove the turrets and the seats, tanks could do more of a support role and people cant go and sap wp off of you, also if you remove the turrets the tank will be cheaper to restock thus brings into play the point of OPing.
I dont honestly see how this could be overpowered but forge guns do a ton of damage as is, so why cant tanks hit just as hard and take just as much damage, heavys are hard to kill, Maruaders are probably hard to kill IDK I dont know. |

I can agree to test this change. Make it even cooler when the tank only has one LOS - i can attack from different directions but it has more buffs as a trade off - i'm good with that. at least to test it. |
