It's militia, so no? But if you mean is it more useful then other free crap you get - hell yes. That submachine gun has saved me countless times. |

it's pretty baller. tight spray range, decent power. I haven't messed with the other smgs this build, but I use this one because i never have to resupply it. that alone makes it worth it.

Great at close range, when going 1 on 1, it's nice being able to finish off your opponent's armor while they're trying to reload. |

Toxin is great.
As a few people have mentioned, the stats - fitting included - are identical to the Standard SMG. I don't think it has any skill prerequisites at all though. And also as mentioned, it's a BPO, so unlimited use. No need to buy a replacement every time you die. |

It's a decent sidearm that is easy to equip for most fits and is a BPO. Yes, to me it is worth it. Even the Dragonfly Dropsuit is worth it because it allows you to build speed based suits which are helpful in various ways IMO. Now all this ain't close to as good as the Saga, that is why I am buying a code for that off E-Bay, should have it shortly. The Saga is badass, like a minitank...

does anyone know the exact bonus kinetic damage gets vs armor? i've never been able to get anyone to sit still long enough to find out with their shields down... they end to squirm a bit. |

I like it because its free and it has a lot of bullets. If you plan on using it as standard side arm you'll want to train some skills for it. Try using a few other smg first, and some other side arms to get a feel for what's right for you. If you can dance and keep the crosshairs on your enemy you'll like it. Like it a lot. |

The Best thing about it for me, is that it is a BPO. which means I don't lose it when I die. that is what makes it valuable, imo.

Yeah just don't ever try aiming down the sights because all you will get is a light show that obscures the person you are shooting at and everything in a 25 metre radius. Hipfire only makes it a weapon I cannot effectively use. That's not to say many other don't use REALLY effectively. It's all up to play style. |

I should point out that the Toxin is really only good because of its price (which is great don't get me wrong). Its not something I would get the merc pack entirely for. If that is your goal (getting an SMG) put some skill into SMG operation and get an assault smg instead. It has a higher rate of fire and yes it will cost you a bit of ISK but that extra rate of fire makes all the difference in the world. |

Both the Toxin and Dragonfly are basically money printers imo. I swear by them 90% of the time. To me they were more worthwhile than any of the throw away crap you get with it tbh. |

The best things in the merc pack are the 30 day xp booster(which does not exist in the market), and the Toxin. |

This is their best use IMO in a 1 on 1 switching to the toxin instead of reloading helps winning |

This.
My Dragonfly twin-Toxin fit costs me 8k. Shield extender of choice, armour rep and free low slot for mod of choice. Down/upgrade meta as you like. Despite no 'scout' skills, other skills transfer over nicely.
Bonus tip, take finger off trigger for accuracy and longer capacity firing. |
