Can you teach a Recon/Sniper role? My account is a day old, but I am doing my best to be the best. I'm really looking into playing in a squad. I have a mic although I will only use it (for telling where enemies are) IF the majority of the squad feels its needed or if the majority is using a mic. I'm also interested in playing PC games... |

You're free to join us of course.
We have a couple of Sniper guides in our private corp forums but equally there are good ones available in the public forums as well.
What I like to think we provide more than anything is a calming and pleasant environment, in which to play and squad up with corp members and those in our Public Channel Comms.D-UNI at your own pace before moving on to one of the more hardcore corps.

Hey Fellow DUST, I'm really new here. Played a few FPS like MW3 and also Halo but DUST 514 is really new to me.
Question 1: what should I be focusing on for my dropsuits?
Question 2: how about LAV? HAV? Or dropships?
Question 3: which pack should I buy? Already bought the starter pack though. Any other recommendations?

First of all use the free fittings while you build up a good cushion of SP deciding which of the roles and races you'd like to explore.
Don't be tempted to put all your skills into the weapons straight away. The dropsuit upgrade tree and which dropsuit role/race should be your key concern. These skills will serve you better in the long run.
There are cheap militia version of most vehicles and some of the packs have AUR versions of them for you to try.
But the best bit of advice I can give is read, re-read and read again the descriptions and requirements of all the skills you buy and spend SP on. It better to keep those SP unallocated till you decide what to do with them. o7

Thanks for the tip! I may have did it wrong and invested my SPs on other things. Well lesson learnt. Will focus my SPs on my dropsuits now. Any others issues I should take note of?

But new player numbers are beginning to pick up again and I want to make sure we catch as many as we can.
