it's almost like they're trying to make you buy the merc pack for the free suit blueprints and the aur to buy the militia blueprints. |

They nerfed it TOOOO much, before the patch i was making 50-100k sp and 200k+ isk per match now im only making 10-15k sp and 20-30k isk, that doesnt even cover the cost of my setup. Not to mention that getting that low of sp means it will take about 20 matches to train one 1x skill from 4 to 5 which is rediculous.
CCP please fix this issue cause with how little we get now it's getting close to not even worth playing. |

Yes, the ISK payout does not cover the costs if you die more than a couple of times with something else than pure militia setup. Piling somewhat enough to buy a skillbook for the more expensive stuff, well not a chance as all ISK is cannot even provide me with my current skill level builds as the more frequent orbital strikes are increasing the death toll by truck loads. |

Well you are certainly not alone mate, I am having my two major fittings, my main sniper that cost about 19k in and my assault that is a little cheaper. For today my highest reward in ISK was roughly 58k ISK which is ridiculously small amount. Normally I am getting from 13k isk to 40k a match. .... How am I suppose to buy new skills that are expensive as hell, even those starting ones. Today I had like 16 matches or so and I didnt make 300k to buy one particular skill.. What The Heck!! |

CCP please fix this issue cause with how little we get now it's getting close to not even worth playing. If you made 50k-100k SP per game on Precursor, you were hacking (that or you're thinking of E3). They lowered SP payouts but they also lowered the entry cost for many skills. |

They are making changes and analyzing the data to see where balances need to be. They are most likely seeing how little they can dish out and how it affects progression. Once again, this is a beta, filled with balancing swings, data collection and analysis. |

Right now my dropsuit costs 25k isk.. If i get a 50k payout that means I can only die twice... any more than that i'm running around as militia and getting one shotted by everything. |

Are you sure you're not doing bad? Yesterday after downtime I got a 250k ISK payout. I usually get 100-200k ISK a game, and I'm finding it fine to run in a full non-militia T-II Heavy suit. |

Isk is definitely lower for me, too. Basic consumable militia fits cost 10k per death and I've been earning 40k or less per skirmish post-patch. I'm no PS3 controller superstar - even if I die 4 times or less in a long match, I can't afford skills. I've gone back to the default, infinite militia suits. |

Even the most basic gear set-ups were almost too expensive before, now I can't afford anything. Starter Fits are the only way I can play at the moment without eating through all my saved-up ISK.
This change definitely came with the hotfix. No doubt about that. |

This change happened today in a hotfix.. yesterday my payouts where fine.. Today my SP has tripled and my ISK payouts where cut by cut by roughly 75% |

Looks like I am not the only one struggling with the ISK.
Barely I can get 100K+ ISK per match with an average 10k-15k SP, even when I finish in first place.
I assume CCP is testing with this change they did?

Same issue here. I am trying to save up isk to start a corp, but that is next to impossible with these really low payouts. Nevermind if I decide to use anything but the militia gear. |

CCP needs to bring another hotfix for this today or else this is gonna be long day... I played all day and I wanted to make money for one particular skill, "grenadier" which cost 300k which is not a lot. I didnt manage to make money for it from all day because my funds barely covered my fitting resupplies.... |

Its possible that only people that are in player corps got bigger payouts overall... I seem to get rewards from battles from 13k to 50k and barely I manage to get 100k max. and I am not running in militia gear at all. Got some skills in fighting and manage to get a lot of kills if I want to. |

I've seen payouts around 50k ISK when we've had the WP farmers (warriors corp) grabbing most of the WPs. Other times it's around 100k, which is way lower than it was just 2 days ago. Yeah, between the WP farming, the dozens of OB strikes and low payouts, the game isn't that interesting right now.

I agree, if anyone is not able to get better isk reward he wont be able to advance in a game and you ll be running with starter kit all day pretty much.. thats how I have it, even with my shooting skills.. |

sure if i run around in a militia or starter fit i can gain some massive isk because im not spending it to restock my fittings. But if i run militia im not doing good enough to gain any sp.
today i got about 9000 sp, on average. and roughly 100k isk on average. most i got was 20k sp and 250k isk. only leveled up two things and i've been playing since 3am and its 11am now. |

eh, i'm starting this build the same as i started last build... i ran my starter fits as long as i could. saved my isk, and leveled up as much as i could. sure, my kdr stunk for the first 2 weeks or so, but by the middle of the build i got the suits i wanted with the equipment i wanted, evened everything out, and was running a positive kdr and had 8M isk in the bank. if we wouldn't have gotten wiped i would be rolling pretty large right now. don't forget, if you got the skinwave suits... use them. they are basically militia suits, but they are free, so the load out doesn't cost much for some weapons and mods. heck, i got the toxin smg and 50 grenades and 50 shot guns for nothing.... so assault rifle (i got the aur from the merc pack, so i was using the killswitch ar for free), and some mods... not too much isk there. i might not be #1 killer, but circle holding and waste gunning in havs and drop ships pays the bills. this game is about economics as much as it is about melting faces. budget, budget, budget. sure the proto stuff looks enticing, but is it worth the cost right now? my goal is to get to a level II suit and redo the load out i had last build. i had over 500hp in defense and was doing pretty well. the main isk killer is skill books. that is why i'm running cheap and lean. saving my isk for books. once my books are bought, i sit on them until i have the right skills i want. after that... bring on the better load outs. i can live with a .50 kdr for a couple of weeks because i know in another week or so, i'm back to a 1+ kdr with enough isk in the bank to have enough fits to last me until next wipe... lol. oh, and did i mention i'm only a weekend warrior?
btw... in terms of proto gear... for assault suits anyway... you can buy almost 4 class A suits for the price of 1 proto suit. you can buy 3 gek 38 ARs for the price of 1 duvalli. if you look at the stats of this proto gear, the duvalli is not very comparable for price (only 3hp better?) and the proto assault suit (aside from the extra cpu, pg, and slots) is it really worth it? tbh, i'm waiting for the class B assault suit (shield is better), because i figure it's just like a class II but with better cpu, pg, and the extra slots... like how the class A is a class I with the better features. |

Dont forget guys, you still have to take into account the sale of goods yet to come into play, I have 18 vehicles and 25 suits and whole bunch of things that I dont need.
These alone will come to millions , I know, the 10 ships are 460K each. Give them a little time to implement the exchange good, which I sure hope they do.
you could also try setting yourself a buffer of ISK, use pure militia until you can keep a constant buffer of iso. Seems to work for me. On the previous build I would keep a buffer of 10 Million and 50 complete suits.
As were only 3 days into this build I have about 20 suits and 1 million ISK, which I dont use. Simple rule, Cant afford it, dont buy it. !

Ok.. this post is not quite about economics (save and use latter).. .but about wp boosters... so blame that persons.
Now your ISK is calculated via your wp. So if match going like 1. 1500 wp 2. 1200 wp 3. 700 wp 4. 500 wp etc...
You got about 100-150k of isk and all pll happy.
but if you meet boosters? 1. 9000 wp 2. 6000 wp 3. 1300 wp 4. 700 wp etc.
(and you do pretty almost the same in the match) you got about 20-50k ... because first two places take the most wp from the game.. so.. more isk.. more sp.. and wp only for them :) |
