I'm not saying has to go back to the speed of last build, but in its current form its almost useless to strafe. |

+1 to this. I'd like strafe speed returned to normal |

I actually like it like this, saw a lot less people dancing around eachother and actually using cover to fight. I've seen a group of people hold an area off and then a guy has just dodged their shots by strafing and got past, now people are finding it easier to hold positions it seems.
I for one, like that, I'd rather keep the strafe speed the same. |

completely ridiculous. |

Yes, I think we could use a general increase to movement speed to make it feel more like we're actually the super-soldiers we are, but doing so while keeping strafe speed and reverse speed lower. |

I'm all for using cover, but CCP has done a total polar opposite. Strafe speed is way too slow now. And with the improvement to the hit detection, it should not have been nerfed this badly. Like I said it doesn't have to be the same speed as last build (but honestly there wasn't anything wrong w/ the speed of last build), but it definitely needs an increase to be usable. |

Agreed. Last build strafe speed was imo perfect.
In fact i loved it even higher than previous build but i think last build had reached a pretty decent balance. Now, it's useless to the point that you can't even get out of aim assist.
What you're all saying about cover is nice. But do not forget that hit detection improved. Returning strafe speed to last build value won't turn the game back to a dancing CQC fest as in any case you will hit way more efficiently the guy that will run toward you. |
