Would it be possible to spawn on your squad as default if you are assigned to one? |

Limit it to only onto your squad leader, not just any member. Remember, the game already has a droppable spawn beacon system in place. Having a squad go in, get wiped out except for one member hiding behind a wall then everyone reappearing is bad. |

They are not always deployed, and spawn points seem purely arbitrary at times. I can't even count how many times I've spawned in enemy territory with no teammates around me. Spawning on a squad leader also contributes to the squad functionality of the game.
Edit: When drop uplinks are active on the field, I do tend to use them. I'm referring to default spawn only. |

Drop links are the mechanic for this and being spawned behind enemy lines is the punishment for not using this mechanic in your teamwork. Its not their job to make your squad use all of your availiable resources. |

Geeee....Now only if the game didn't have a game breaking bug where using a Drop uplink that gets played out or blown up during your respawn wait, causes you to be stuck and unable to respawn the rest of the match. Had it happen 4 times the other day. Had to leave the match every time. Always fun to lose isk and Sp due to that. |

No and never, never spawn on squad. For all the time i see a squad person run away I shouldnt see 3 other guys I killed 3 seconds ago appear right next to him. |

Yeah, if it has to be in, it should be a piece of equipment usable only by "Crusader" suits (still hate that name), and should ideally have a duration and cooldown so that you can't just leave it on constantly. |

I actually like that idea better than mine. May not be feasible, but still an interesting idea. |

If my interpretation is correct, it would be more like an active shield generator or rep tool rather than an active deployment item (like drop uplinks and nanohives). Basically making a squad leader loadout. Logis have dedicated players. It might be interesting to have a dedicated squad leader set-up.
As previously stated, none of this may work. Just wanted to pitch out ideas and get feedback from everyone since default drops seem to be a bit random as of now.
As another thought and counter argument to myself, this might all be mute when a player reaches the tier 3 drops suits and can equip both the nano and drop uplink. As of now, I use the nano because access to bullets is far more important that where I drop in the current build. |

Sorry if this post seems like a waste to you, but I am attempting to start a dialogue and posting my observations and suggestions. Some are valid, some are not.
Maybe it is like a mobile CRU, but I am not leveled enough to use those items so I cannot comment about their effectiveness and relevance. When I am given the option of a selectable spawn point, I use it. Including in objective matches where I know I'm dropping into a hotzone. If the drop uplinks and CRUs are the only acceptable answer to spawning, then perhaps squad interaction is the more important issue. I'm open to a discussion on the issue.
The main reason for this post is to figure a way to bring squads into a more active role. And since default spawning currently seems to be erratic, I am merely presenting an idea for discussion. As it stands now, there is very little communication and interaction with a majority of the players in terms of Squads. If I am off target, I have no problem admitting it. But saying nothing achieves nothing. |

when i run with a swuad i run logi with a uplink and thats what we do. i always spawn first and drop an uplink and they spawn on it so we r together. if its objective i dont have too because we got spawn points but u see my point. |

Wish I had more guys like you in my games. My eventual goal is a tier 3 suit w/ a drop uplink and nanohive fitting. Would love to see a more active interaction between players. |

This game would benefit greatly with squad spawn, instead of objective spawn. Right now squads are nothing but team mates with different colored names. I am almost never around them unless we happen to choose same spawn point at around the same time. Squad spawn would keep squads together and make team play much much easier. |

If you're going to do this at all, it would need to be attached to an equipment module usable only by a "Crusader" suit, and having an activation duration and cooldown such that it doesn't just replace Drop Uplinks. |
