Stats don't show direct damage, but we can kinda get the idea of why the hell everyone uses this KDR cop-out.

There needs to be an ISK version of a grenade that explodes on contact or this is a blatant contradiction to what was promised that nothing will be available for Aurum that you can't get with ISK.

it needs to be nerfed even if they add an ISK variant cuz it gives u no chance to react and is an insta kill
an insta explode nade should not be high dmg to kill instantly scrubs just see u and instantly toss it to get kills takes no skill |

perhaps reduce the splash damage/radius first... I mean a contact grenade that hits a person then kills them as a prototype weapon seems reasonable |

Welcome to the party, I posted this "problem" two months ago. If it were up to me, the direct hit nades would be restricted to the mercinary pack variety, meaning 400 splash damage and 4 meters, they're good enough, the Cavity tucker is borderlining OP and do we really want a game were direct hit nades are king of every cqc engagement?

This idiot yesterday killed me twice with these , without them he would be dead trust me , he won because he paid to win .

No just add a F*cking ISK one and decrease the damage it does for both the aur and the isk one, there should be no reason why there are EXCLUSIVE AUR weapons that are more powerful. The creators of Dust even said this isnt a pay to win, why are you going back on your words now?! Huh? Oh whats that its not a pay to win, what blatent lies. |

Well. f... really was rather hoping that CCP just gets rid of it. It's pretty much the instant C4 remote explosives of CoD and Battlefield.

Honestly, I think they have a place in the game. But in their current state, they could certainly use a reduction in either explosion radius, damage, or possibly even both. There has to be a trade off somewhere for the ability to explode on contact, and skills or cost alone isn't enough. |

I don't mind explode on contact grenade. An isk version is also welcome. However it need to be toned down. It shouldn't be as powerful as normal grenade. It also shouldn't OhK person with full health in the same grade gear. Only heavily injured person should die to it. |

Massive fail. Just remove this rubbish from the game. Its just the same as RE but better I dont see how thats so hard for people to understand. Impact nades should be doing half the dmg if they are kept in.

Hmmmm, i'd rather have the entire "blow on impact" grenade type disappear instead... This will become over-used, like REs in the previous build. |

Damage and Radius need to be divided by two...you are rewarded enough to know that your nade will explode as soon as it lands near target, it should be as powerful and a "normal" grenade. I think 300 damage and a 3m radius would be a lot better. |

Most likely, the ISK version will have a bit lower damage, and smaller blast radius than the AUR version. That, and higher equip stats. |

I think your all just jealous that you're not using it. Don't get me wrong I hate the little kittens that kill me with them and I actively seek bloody revenge... that being said why wouldn't someone create a weapon like that? I think most people are annoyed that one doesn't know what kind of grenade they are carrying. If it looked like a rocket launcher then you would stay away, because you would know how to defend against it, the fact that it is smaller than a water bottle... well we have those size bombs today and they do kill alot of people. so, Get Used to Dying in cheap ways - don't pull your punches.
Also: right now this is as close to a rocket launcher as you can get while the mass driver is broken. A weapon we all have used in other games - do you hate it because it is not apparent like their gun? Then perhaps you would like a sparkling halo around their character if they have a thukker? Red maybe. Blue for regular, green for AV, Purple for Shield, and Pink for C4
Adapt - don't get so close. or if you fight close range get better with cover, sneaking, surprise, or armor up so it only tickles you. I don't like them, it is an exploit, but for logi's who have no side-arm this is a great defense. But remember it hurts anything caught in the blast - if it is thrown too close the lobber dies too
I suppose one could make realistic penalties : It is more like a water balloon, a large impact and the person wearing it goes boom? maybe? |
