Looking at the changes, can't see much that's going to change my tanking time.
Reduced armor and damage control %'s? Pssssh. I've been sacrificing my leftover Somas since I discovered Shield/Speed tanking be the way to go. (PS: Don't you guys know it's really the shield tanks that are the problem, and not just because of the booster?)
There are damage mod bonuses for tanks? Oh, that's right, my game crashes every time I TRY to learn the Turret Upgrades skill anyway. No loss here.
Turn rate of turrets being reduced hurts, it really does. But, two things. One, the reason for this is because of the new turret speed increase modules being added soon, if that post with all the 'new stuff' is accurate. OK. Two, experienced tankers learn to use both the turning of their vehicle and the turret to aim faster. So unless maneuverability is nerfed, not really worried. But, you know, slowing down the turn of the Railgun turret? Yesssssss. That's only going to really affect Tank VS Tank fights. And as I generally go with a light, shielded speedy tank, that just makes my job easier.
Reduced splash damage on the rockets... alright, that's fine. For killing infantry, they are far and away the most effective one, and this is kinda necessary. Depending on how much it's reduced will determine whether I migrate from fast missiles to fast refire rate.
Swarm buffs? Excellent. I usually outrun or trick those into hitting terrain, but maybe this will mean fewer of those pesky drops pooping rockets on me like the pigeons they are.
Forge buffs? I WOULD complain, but it's been needing this for awhile so it can be a viable cannon for Heavies to obliterate vehicles AND infantry with. I'm totally OK with them being 'mid-range snipers', as it were. There's only two types of Forge gunners anyway, the kind that stand in the middle of nowhere and get shot/flattened, and the kind which find a perch with cover and cornhole me from a range. I lost 3 Militia tanks to the latter kind before I learned the signs and taught myself to get out of dodge and avoid them. But now? Now maybe we'll see small squads with 2 or more heavies 'leapfrogging' across terrain blowing up people and vehicles. I'm cool with that.
Reduced remote explosives detonation time? Yes, please! Now they will be useful in a far greater variety of situations! Maybe I'm a noob, but I've yet to be killed by them, in tank or on foot.
