Hi everyone,
By popular request, we will start tracking a list of bugs reported by beta testers and quick info on their status here on a weekly basis. Below is a list of bugs that were discussed during meetings earlier this week.
[BUG] Players being kicked out of the game to MQ and losing assets Status: Known issue GÇô is being worked on
[BUG] Bringing up the map can cause vehicle to fall through the ground Status: Known issue GÇô is being worked on
[BUG] GÇ£Game file is corrupt, please delete and re-installGÇ¥ error Status: caused by missing DB files on the client GÇô research on this bug has been initiated
[BUG] Spawning into LAV issue-spawn in while standing Status: Known issue GÇô is being worked on
[BUG] Squad leaders are reporting issue where MCC is blocking the objective on the overview map and making it unmarkable Status: Fix planned for next patch update

Here's this week's bug tracking list that the dev team reviewed.
[BUG] Grenade animation on death - character can still throw/cook off grenades after entering bleedout stage Status: tracked, grenades should drop to the ground instead
[BUG] Buying skill books (and using them) may cause disconnects Status: tracked, will be tested by QA
[BUG] Dropship sometimes refuses to lift off (DS3) Status: tracked, QA will repro this bug
[BUG] Some hills are not climbable, players getting GÇ£jump stuckGÇ¥ Status: tracked, Level Design will look into improving this

Here's the 3rd installment of the weekly bug tracking update!
[BUG] Map/leaderboard pops up by itself - A few players reported the issue with leaderboard/map popping up by itself in the mid-match. Status: tracked, will be tested by QA
[BUG] Losing vehicle after the match - Even though the vehicle was never destroyed players still lose it when match finishes. Status: tracked, will be tested by QA Note: if an enemy hacks your vehicle and you hack it back, you will still lose a bpc. This is currently by design.
[BUG] Swarm launcher rockets sometimes get stuck in objects and fly in odd directions Status: known issue, new improvements are currently WIP.
[BUG] Player not being able to fire or aim with weapons after being revived Status: tracked, will be tested by QA
[BUG] DUST may shut down PS3 sometimes Status: tracked, will be tested by QA

Welcome to this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Hovering above small cliff sometimes causes you to die on GÇ£landingGÇ¥ - a bug that happens when players are climbing hills/steep terrain. Usually when they are releasing their movement stick they just fall to their death even though they were never far from the ground. Status: known issue, the level design team will be doing a detailed analysis on slope angles on all maps to eliminate odd angles which causes this bug.
[BUG] Players spawning at unsafe zones (Skirmish) - Players sometimes spawn at unsafe zones and cannot get out within the 10 second limit. Status: tracked, level design team will review spawn locations.
[BUG] Restock may cause disconnect to players if the GÇ£backGÇ¥ button is pressed too quickly after restocking Status: known issue. This is much improved in the next release

Hello everyone, we are back from our vacation and below is the list of bugs that the team examined this week.
[BUG] Lack of ISK rewards from HAV/Dropship/LAV kills Status: not intended, design team will test and repro this.
[BUG] Restocking prices on the fitting screen do not match market Status: tracked, will be tested by QA.
[TECH ISSUE] Framerate drops in skirmish, lag, slow texture loading Status: tracked, will be tested by QA.
[BUG] Enable voice chat on squad/corp/local etc causes instant loss of internet connection Status: tracked, will be tested by QA.
[BUG] Snipers not doing any damage but shot is registered Status: known issue, dev team working on a fix.
[BUG] Mouse sensitivity in Codex: too high Status: tracked, dev team working on a fix. |

[BUG] Scrolling contact list causes massive freezing/framerate spikes Status: still under investigation by QA
[BUG] New ambush content streaming changes on 31st: possible cause of lag Status: QA will be soliciting player feedback on the forums to help them identify the cause of this bug
[BUG] Cannot connect to DUST after attempting to extend the UVT or extending SP boosters Status: QA will be soliciting player feedback on the forums to help them identify the cause of this bug
[BUG] Hands disappearing leaving gun floating on the screen and disconnects Status: Should be fixed in the next update
[BUG] Getting kicked from matches too frequently (reports since 11/1/12) Status: QA will be soliciting player feedback on the forums to help them identify the cause of this bug
To better assist the QA team in identifying root causes of bugs found in the beta, members from the QA team will be more active in soliciting detailed info from players on the forums, so expect new devs on our forums in the very near future. |

Here are this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Sliding/Floating around capture points on skirmish maps Status: Tracked. This has to do with the setting of the player camera.
[BUG?] Mouse y axis sensitivity is far lower than x axis Status: Tracked. A fix for this is coming soon.
[BUG] Getting stuck in installations Status: Tracked.
[BUG?] Militia/BPO Profile dampeners fit low + description Status: Tracked. A fix for this is coming soon.
[BUG] Killing vehicles not giving proper payout Status: You do get rewards for killing vehicles. The perceived low payout could be due to another feature introduced earlier that reduced the total reward payout if you did not complete a full match i.e. joining a match that is already in progress. |

Here are this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Swapping fit at supply depot doesn't give you full fit Status: Tracked. A fix for this is underway.
[BUG] Problem with sniper targeting - possible code problem Status: Not reproducible. This may be caused by latency issues instead. QA team will do more testing.
[BUG] EVE/DUST corp-wide mail from EVE causing glitches Status: Tracked. QA testing underway.
[BUG] NA players getting into EU matches Status: Tracked. The dev team will monitor server traffic to isolate the cause.
[BUG] Late spawning of one team or another Status: Tracked. Part of the cause may be due to older drives loading the match slower than newer drives. The dev team will look at how the match making system is queuing players currently.
[BUG] Disconnected when accepting ex-member back to corp Status: Not reproducible. More details will be required, and we welcome beta testers to give more info on how this bug appears.
[BUG] Analog stick/Running issues Status: Not reproducible. QA team will do more testing on this.

Here's this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Vehicle prices are not 50% off from the restock option Status: Not reproducible. We were not able to reproduce this bug during the event period.
[BUG/FEEDBACK] "Server Shutdown" warning cancelling lock-on, breaking combat Status: Tracked. The dev team will work on a fix for this.
[BUG/FEEDBACK] Vehicle destruction ISK issue - not rewarding players that destroy them Status: This may be due to a misunderstanding of how the reward system works. A dev blog to explain this will be out soon.
[BUG/FEEDBACK] There is no simple way to quit corporation Status: A fix for this should be out in the next update.
[BUG] Corporation logo is replaced with a square full of question marks Status: Should be fixed now.

[BUG] Spawn timer glitches to "--:--" and unable to spawn in Status: Tracked. The dev team is working on a fix for this.
[BUG] Invalid label error Status: Tracked. Fixed in the next build update.
[BUG] LAV crushing players when leaving out at high speeds Status: Tracked. The dev team will test this issue further.
[BUG] Players reporting hard freezes during explosions/firing forge gun/being hit/blown up Status: Not reproducible. Still under investigation.
[BUG] Cannot spawn if killed while looking at the map Status: Not reproducible. Still under investigation.

[BUG] Enemy team able to get into MCC and camp enemies with uplink Status: Not reproducible. QA testing showed that drop uplinks cannot be deployed in unsafe zones. More testing on this will be done.
[BUG] Tank GÇ£danceGÇ¥ - tank appear to be spinning uncontrollably due to framerate issues. Status: Not reproducible. QA team will inquire via the forums for more details.
[BUG] Team kills with LAV by changing seat at high speed Status: More testing being done to research this bug.
[BUG] Internal errors related to corporation interaction Status: Not reproducible in the test build. Should be fixed in the next patch update.

We're back from the holidays and here's this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Reload hanging issue Status: Not reproducible. More testing required.
[BUG] Increase in hard freezes for some players Status: Under investigation
[BUG] Prolonged play leading to lag issues Status: More testing required by QA.
[BUG] Faulty L1 button Status: May be due to faulty controllers. QA will do more testing on this and inquire more info on the forums.
[BUG] Hack griefing - bumping a team mate while hacking may interrupt the hack Status: Under investigation, will send updates once results are in.
[BUG] Unable to voice chat with EVE players with the UVT Status: Under investigation.
[BUG] Infinite loading dropsuit selection Status: Reported. Under investigation and testing for a solution to this.
[BUG] 'Raven' Assault Dropsuit doesn't seem to have a visible stamina bar Status: Not reproducible.
[BUG] Inertial dampeners occasionally cause a player to become pseudo-stuck and barely able to move. To other players the 'glow' of using the damper persists long after landing and until the person dies and vanishes Status: Under investigation.
[BUG] Triage repair points not always being awarded despite a player definitely taking damage merely a few seconds before being repped Status: Possibly due to the "cool-down" period on rewards for repair actions. Under investigation.
[BUG] Some related to KB/M usage. In previous build there was an option when you open your dropsuit list (when you spawning or on supply depot) to use mouse scroll or W and S buttons on the keyboard to go to the drupsuit setup you want. Now it must be done with the controler Status: By design. The arrow keys can be used to select fittings.
[BUG] Nanohives being deployed into objects/failing to deploy Status: Under investigation. Possibly caused by buggy terrain surface.
[BUG] Unsafe zone message appearing when dying outside the red zone Status: Under investigation.

[BUG] "Blueprint" in the kill feed - you now see "blueprint" before the weapon type in kill feeds for militia weapons Status: By design.
[BUG] Multiple chat channels open causing hard PS3 freezes Status: Under QA testing.
[ISSUE] Disconnects, booted back to MQ, general performance issues on Jan 13th Status: We are working on hotfix to address this.
[BUG] Invisible hands bug - in Chromosome Status: Under QA testing.
[BUG] Default passive SP gain not working properly Status: We are working on a hotfix to address this. In the meantime, we recommend players manually select the character they wish to gain passive SP so as to minimize SP loss.

[BUG] Prerequisites option shows description Status: This issue should be fixed in the next patch update.
[BUG] Maximum amount of Corp channels crashing the game Status: QA was able to reproduce this issue. It will be further investigated and fixed.
[BUG] Sniper scope effect not disappearing at death Status: QA was not able to reproduce this situation. Community will reach out to the players and ask for more details on a possible way to reproduce this.
[BUG] Corrupted data / Synchronization issues Status: This issue should be fixed in the next patch update. Tip to those who are experiencing this issue: try deleting game saved data before completely reinstalling the game
[BUG] Negative skill points display Status: QA is working on a fix for this. It is only a display problem. Re-logging fixes this issue.
[BUG] Reviving your teammate uses up one clone reserve Status: This is not reproducible on QA side. Further investigation is needed on the forums. |

Here's this week's bug tracking update. Below are the bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Endgame freezes at mission completion - no ISK or SP awarded Status: Will require further testing. We are planning on improving reward messaging to those players that get disconnected or encounter any other technical issues before the match is over.
[BUG] Sound glitches Status: This is fixed by rolling back older version of sound effects and we are working on fixing and improving further the new sound effects.
[BUG] Missing Exile Assault Rifle and Skinweave Heavy Status: We deployed a fix that is supposed to restore these items to everyone. Please visit this thread for more details.
[BUG] Aim trigger (L1) brings up Neocom while in battle Status: We will look into this and make sure that controls trigger as intended.
[BUG] Infinite sprint Status: We will look into it and apply a fix.
[BUG] Swarm missiles hitting bottom of the turret Status: We will test and fix this. |

Hi everyone,
We're back from our holidays and below are the list of bugs that were discussed by the dev team this week.
[BUG] Hacking glitches - controller resets every few minutes making actions that require extended button holding difficult. Status: Will require further testing.
[BUG] Railgun tanks collision issue - Collision damage, projectile speed, armor repairs appear to be inconsistent. Status: We've identified several issues that could be causing this and will be testing solutions for a fix. With regards to the armor repair that seems to blow up the tank when activated, this is caused by burn damage destroying the tank before repairs can be made.
[BUG] Unable to leave squad - Players being stuck in squad after a public match and are not able to leave at all unless they restart the client. Status: The dev team will investigate this issue further.
[BUG] Death in red zone not showing up on scoreboard - Bug where players that die in red zones don't have their K/D changed on the scoreboard afterwards. Status: Known issue, a fix for this is being worked on.
[BUG] Hit GÇ£immunityGÇ¥ on specific spots in game - locations on the map where players appear to be immune to damage. Status: The dev team is investigating this issue.
[BUG] Unable to spawn, unable to load fittings list Status: Under investigation.
[BUG] Getting hit through solid objects Status: Please provide links to in-game images of this bug at https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=56260&find=unread to help us isolate where this is happening on the levels.

Below is the list of bugs that the dev team discussed this week.
[BUG] Assets display - Some weapons are not showing up in the assets list - like forge guns. Status: Known issue, the dev team is working on a fix for this.
[BUG] Neo Assault type A - Display bug on the store front where the store image is not the same as in-game image. Status: Known issue, the dev team is working on a fix for this.
[BUG] LAV Bugs when running players over - Collision issues with LAV hitting infantry. Status: Will require further testing.
[BUG] Sever Logistics dropsuit displayed incorrectly. Status: Fix is being worked on to correct this, should be resolved by the next update.
[BUG] Team kill with overcooked grenades - cooking off a grenade will kill you and friendlies near the blast. Status: Known issue, the dev team is working on a fix for this.
[BUG] Popup: "This is a beautiful time-Lapse..." - When joining a corp match that is full, players could see a bugged pop up message. Status: This will be fixed in the next update.

[BUG] HMG and Large Blaster Turrets Glitch - runaway fire without overheating Status: Known issue, a fix is WIP.
[ISSUE] Disconnects - 3.15.2013 - players getting disconnection error messages Status: Investigation underway to pin point the cause of this.
[BUG] Can't find battles after downtime if you were in a match when downtime hits Status: Under investigation.
[BUG] Black Screen when respawning Status: Related to a hotfix deployed last week. We have since rolled back the hotfix and this issue has been fixed.
[BUG] Swarm Launchers not awarding correct WP for dropship kills Status: Working as intended. The dev team will review this design and determin if improvements are required.
