I have a 8.92 k/d and i'm a AR specialist, never have I called in 1 tank this build and i have hopped in a tank exactly 6 times during a match this build so does that mean i'm good? Or am I a tank ***** because I have STB in my name?

Full tank with good turret expirence can stop any effort by people to kill the tanks and when it gets to more tanks it gets to where all attempts are destroyed without any risk of the tank, cause they sit far and just spam fire at anything they see.

So an entire squad of troops with advanced / prototype AV gear shouldn't be able to totally take on a tank, but should at least make the Tank needs to play smarter then rolling up and spamming R1 before the AV guys can eve get close to the DPS to make the tank back off.

A whole squad should be able to take out a tank not multiple tanks working together, but there is no reason why 4-5 guys with forge guns, swarms and av grenades shouldnt be able to take on a lone tank, but in this build it simply isn't possible if the tank driver knows what he's doing

Don't suggest waving your KD around these forum. Isn't impressive in a game that takes no skill. Or in any game. Even if it did take skill, half the players are newbies at fps.

You guys realize with every post like this you are giving stb exactly what they want? And by that I mean recruitment opportunities. Of course you do because it's stb guys other accounts making these posts, theyre using this as a sort of propaganda making it seem like everybody is scared of them which in turn makes more people want to join. And yes tanks are overpowered they are either going to be nerfed, raised in price significantly or av will be buffed. We all know ccp is doing something about it so why complain about it constantly? As for all the stb posts if you're going to post so many at least post them for what they are, recruitment threads.

STB's fully spec'd tank members are Tednuget and Lurchasaurus but we also have members who have started spec'ing tanks more so for the purposes of counteracting other tanks such as Marston and ragewardog. Ted and lurch usually always run tanks but our other guys will occasionally pull them put. A majority of our members run assault loadouts, thats including myself, God-Nova, Krucial, Quick, youngcuz and several other members who prefer gun combat. Just because you get wrecked by some with an STB tag that is using a particular style of play it doesn't mean thats how the entire corp plays.

If you think that STB is a bunch of no gun game scrubs then please please add me stlcarlos989 as a friend on PSN and when we get arena battles where its the same gear and stats myself, nova, krucial, quick, torsten and any of our other STB gungame elites will show you how we play.

lol if u allow 1 tank to run u around all game then ur bad tbqh no matter how good 1 tank is if u get some coordination u will force it to back up.

ppl on these forums seems to think that u absolutely must destroy the tank, most tankers back up once starting to take too much dmg making a tank ineffective all game even if u dont destroy it is just as good

now if the enemy drops 4 tanks then good luck gettin coordinated with randoms but corp battles again once everything is in and working as intended doubt it would be a big deal for a coordinated grp

the vibe i keep gettin on the forums is that ppl playin these hisec pub games seem to want to actually take down tanks with 1-2 ppl with minimal effort and judging by the price of the tank compared to your dropsuit that **** wont ever happen unlike pubs in games like BF3 1-2 ppl wont be able to take down a well fitted tank aka a marauder and above BUT 1-2 ppl can take down a militia or standard respectively with some coordination

I wouldn't call anyone an FPS pro based on their FPS skills in DUST, because the FPS part of this game is broken. The hit detection is random and the aiming, shooting and whatever is so rough. It's very difficult to put into words, but BF3 is so much smoother than this game.

If they kick my ass in Battlefield 3, then yeah, they are pro because i'm above 99% of BF3 players for KDR, without stat padding with tanks or aircraft. In BF3, you will always see me being the medic and at the same time, mutilating everyone I come across because i'm one of the few people on the game that can get that high without stat padding with vehicles, whilst reviving and healing pretty much everyone.

In DUST I still play the medic, because that's my role, but I have trouble killing people like I do in BF3, because of the reasons I mentioned.

Cheating?! Everyone has a role, that's an important part of this game. So KDR shouldent really apply.

It's my views and it's my reasoning. In BF3, I do care about my stats page, as I did in MAG. I don't value the KDR of a vehicle user in FPS games, but I value their vehicle support and some other statistics.

Just like any other FPS game. Stats mean nothing until you go against actually competition. Everyone knows how easy it is to from a squad or pub and start racking up kills. Anyone that brags about their KDR usually are playing with friends with mics and owning us randumbs. I love how two players is the whole corporation of STB.

The rest of us are killing you with guns, in fact we do more killing with guns then tanks. Sorry you run into many of the STB tanks, it happens to the best of us. But unlike you, I went forge gun and started killing tanks with ease. Maybe you should get off your kitten and learn to play the game thats out. Maybe if you went AV then you would understand this better.

Just spec for Forge Gun Dropsuit for now. That's what I did. Now I'm into Swarm Launchers. We haven't seen other things that will get add on the game. For example the Installations? Those things have same capabilites like the tank. But, they're not in the skills yet. So be patience my friend.

Granted STB has a few good players but I think their real strength is in there forum posts. Not trashing anyone but i pray for a day i log onto the forums and dont see spam threads about these guys weather its for or against they are pointless chest beating, verbal vomit that has "non factors" saturated within the threads. How 'bout skillin' up your AV? With my recently nerfed swarms, hives and a good location I can push back a tank all by myself. I won't destroy it, but I'll make it go repair and make it think about another route. With some help, it could be taken it out. But, many don't know how to AV... or team up... they're too busy running around with their heads cut off screaming "there's a tank on the field, run!"

FWIW, tanks are just fine. They should be a PITA to kill, seeing how much they cost and SP needed for a real good one. Well built tanks are a great challenge, it would get boring if they where as easy to kill like last build.

Whether or not it is a known "fact" is really speculation at this stage. With the NDA in place it's only going to be a case of what each party say (i.e. unable to release video or screenshot evidence).

You don't seem to understand the basic concept of diplomacy (or you've chosen to completely ignore it). The moment you mention a particular group of people in the same sentence, then most people who are going to read it will automatically assume that this is the common view of the said group.

Lurch is right about that all them dude's have gun game i have played with a few of em and against. plus ted can hold his own with an AR as well so yeah.

It was always like this with STB. In MAG they got shite for being tamsen using SVER players, who employed ringers for clan battles. Now it's tanks. When the great clans spring up, things will change.

You overglorify most people too much Deadpool. Quick isn't very talented, and pretty slow in the head. I've only met 1 WARRIOR who didn't SP boost with an LAV.
