Full tank with good turret expirence can stop any effort by people to kill the tanks and when it gets to more tanks it gets to where all attempts are destroyed without any risk of the tank, cause they sit far and just spam fire at anything they see. |

So an entire squad of troops with advanced / prototype AV gear shouldn't be able to totally take on a tank, but should at least make the Tank needs to play smarter then rolling up and spamming R1 before the AV guys can eve get close to the DPS to make the tank back off. |

You cant Claim your any good if you run a tank every match. I mean seriously.... fps of tank shooter? i thought it said it was a FPSMMO. Maybe i was mislead about this game or maybe CCP is just the same with the tanks. Just spec for Forge Gun Dropsuit for now. That's what I did. Now I'm into Swarm Launchers. We haven't seen other things that will get add on the game. For example the Installations? Those things have same capabilites like the tank. But, they're not in the skills yet. So be patience my friend.
the game will not last if the over powered things will have some update after the time of it being OP that will make it not over powered.
As far as i know, we have most if not all AV damage inflicting weapons already in the beta.
Webifiers and Ewar, don't do damage, hell Webs only slow stuff down, tanks dont have a capacitor that could be drained to make its turrets useless and have to get away from the drainer.
Ewar is electronic warfare, just cause something can change stats of the vehicle doesn't mean that tank or dropship for that matter couldn't still just alpha anyone off the field that tried to bring the damage inflicting weapons in range of it. |

True, but the webgrenades would have to do considerable amount of slowing down to make a tank stuck in it long enough to get the swarms and forge guns to fire on it.
Tanks go fast right now. faster then the fastest scoutsuit fit could keep up with. |
