The problem here is that your thieving government tried to take from us what we rightfully built with our own resources. We didn't use Federation resources to build those colonies. The Federation didn't exist when we started that project.

More specifically, I was pointing to 'the notion' rather than stating it was any belief of mine own. I have my own views of America, and I don't believe they're imperialistic... rather, they make judgments based on what they believe is right for whatever situation is at hand. Whether they make the correct choice or not remains to be seen. Only history will be able to tell our future generations whether or not it was the right choice. Personally? I feel those resources spent on 'freedom' wars could have been better spent on domestic improvements in an effort to help us better support the world and ourselves. War and death only brings misery with hope of a better future... technological, domestic investment, better education, improved domestic security these things bring happiness with a hope of a better future. I still stand by it definitely would not. I formulate my own opinions based on the history of what has happened ... not someone's interpretation of what happened. Observing behavior.
