Again, for the 500th time, UVT is for creating custom voice channels and Eve cross talk.

All other voice is free.

From my understanding, the voice functionality needed to support all those custom rooms is something CCP has to pay for. Since we aren't paying a subscription, they need to recoup the cost of its use somehow.

You can still talk to your squad at all times, and to your entire team while in a game, without the UVT.

Just as the title says, and I am sorry if this is not the first thread. I am new here, and I did a scan of a few pages, and did not see this mentioned.

I am loving this game, but I dont see why we should have to pay to have a universal transmitter. Wouldnt it be better if everyone could use without paying? Players can find other players, chat, discuss strategy, etc, and

Would this not lead to better teamwork?

Ive seen some posts where players are disgusted that they have to pay in order to use this feature.

If you feel this should be free please support

I dont mind paying money for things such as AUR, and etc, but paying to talk to players is rather foolish in my opinion

UVT'S are NOT for TEAM CHAT or SQUAD CHAT.......they are for LONG DISTANCE CHAT TO OTHER STAR SYSTEMS/PLANETS.
I support ccp for charging to use Uvt's, a 'free to play' game does not mean you get everything for free you self entitled moron, free to play means no monthly subscription, and in most cases its free to Download.
And before you start with the 'well I payed for the merc pack so I DID pay'.........you payed for bonuses.......you paid for aurum that gets refunded every new build, you paid for a head start in aurum when the game reaches full release......so 'i bought the merc pack' don't cut it.
Also.....before you yap about eve having free chat, yes they do have free chat....because they have to pay 15/month subscription and we dont have a monthly subscription in dust 514, SOOOO ccp have to make their money somehow, they have to pay their employees, they have to pay for the running of the server.

Instead of having 100 threads being created what needs to be done is have 1. A petition forum in some threads works well, and gives devs an idea if the majority wants it. If it dies in a few days. Maybe not. If it gets a lot of hits and support than maybe its worth considering.

BTW I hate Camp of Duty. Worst FPS game out there, or FPS for dummies, and one reason why I hate it, is because half of the kids on there have rage like you displayed above.
